How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

First off, the stars of the show are the staff at reception! Thank you Jack, for the thoughtful message and the beautiful tasty dessert you left me upon arrival for my birthday celebration! Thank you to Maureen for letting me know that there was a surprise for me after my 12 hour journey on 5 trains and a bus. Your sweet nature was just what I needed. Thank you Marie and Mathieu as well. As for the next day, thank you to Eleonora, and a heartfelt thanks to Santiago for escorting me to the station, to speak to SCNF regarding the huge delay, that would have me miss my connection. You were so incredibly helpful to me! I will never forget you all! My room was gorgeous, like a Hollywood movie set! There were many thoughtful touches in the design. However, the most amazing was the BED! It was the hands down the best bed I’ve ever slept in, in a hotel. It was so comfortable. From the variety of pillows to covers and the incredible mattress. I fell asleep immediately, and slept so soundly. I would’ve missed my train for this bed!

Beautiful hotel: comfortable spacious room, comfortable beds, lovely toiletries. Literally an overnight stay for us. The proximity to the train station was great - a two minute walk, and as we were travelling by train this couldn't have been more perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We took an UBER to the historical district to have dinner. Lots of lovely choice and we really enjoyed our very short visit to this part of the city. Breakfast was superb. Great hotel. Would hope to stay again.

The hotel is right now in a construction zone.
This is a brand new hotel, conveniently located next to Lyon Part-Dieu train station. Our room is spacious with a comfortable king size bed, high quality amenities and an ensuite bathroom. Buffet breakfast is excellent with a large variety of choices. The staff is very polite, helpful and professional.

The hotel is very nice with some great amenities.
It seemed new and was very clean. ALMOST connected to train station. I believe that is the goal, but things were still under construction, so it was a bit awkward to get in and out at the moment.

Beautiful, quiet and impeccably clean room. Breakfast was exceptional, both in terms of quality and sheer variety. Great coffee too. Very friendly staff. The staff at reception went out of their way to find a phone charger for me when I arrived (all frazzled after my flight had been cancelled last minute) and the following day offered to book a train for me when my replacement flight was also cancelled. They were extremely helpful and lovely people.

Construction in front of the hotel made getting in a hassle since parking was all but eliminated from the front of the building.
It was very clean and quiet.

The neighborhood close to the station is not amazing but still very convenient.
Clean, classy, and friendly business hotel. Sparkling water on each floor for you to fill up a bottle. Good coffee in the room (yeah!). Excellent sound insulation in the room (yeah!).

The doors are very heavy. If you were weak or disabled you would not be able to open the door to the room easily. There is a strange charge of e100, supposedly a deposit. It's not mentioned in the reservation stage. But I am not sure what is for, no staff member I spoke to could give an adequate explanation, as there is no mini bar or anything. It's supposedly refunded at checkout. Of course it didn't get refunded and I am still waiting. The hotel tried to tell me its my bank but that's unlikely as I was refunded e1200 on that day from a car hire company which took all of 10 seconds as I would expect. I am not sure what to make of that, I was very uncomfortable as I was unsure if I could lose the e100 for any reason, of which I might be unaware.
Its beautiful from every angle! The rooms are gorgeous. The shower was fabulous. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. Right at gare Part Dieu and great transport links outside the door. Top class toiletries, a kettle with tea bags (no coffee!) with real cups and glasses of a proper size.

Signages to get to the Hotel. Lot of renewal work going on around the Hotel and so its a bit confusing at first to get to it. Proper signages not present so you can see the Hotel and its big Signage but a labyrinth to get to the front. I am sure it is temporary but still a bit of an inconvenience at first. But you get to the hotel and its perfect!
