Room was very small. We had a problem with the toilet flush, although it was sorted quickly. Shower had rain head and only a small screen so water went everywhere. There was no where to hang used towels. The breakfast room looked great and the food on offer sounded to be local produce and very good, but at Euro 24 per head was too expensive. Our meal out the night before was only Euro 124 for three courses and four glasses of wine and waiter service.

Super-tight parking

Twin double glazing meant absolutely no noise from the traffic outside. Clean room - loads of storage. Handy underground parking, even if turning space was at a premium as the pillars are extremely close together. Friendly staff

I have stayed at the Henry II several times in the past and always enjoyed my stay. I found the redecorating of the rooms a shame as I enjoyed the simplicity they had before. I hate the tv coming on as soon as you put the card in the holder, it is an assault!

Very conveniently located in close walking distance to the town centre. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a good supply of towels and toiletries. The breakfast, while expensive, was very good. It was useful to have parking at the property. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

one of the rooms was flooded after a rainstorm and was offered for it to be mopped up rather than a replacement room - after complaining a new room was offered - took ages to get a drink in the bar - could have done with more staff really

Small point - bathroom was really small, but not really an issue for one night.

Great location for walking into Beaune old town. Secure underground parking (for an extra charge which we knew about in advance). This was the main reason we booked this hotel as we were on a motorbike. Comfy warm room, lovely bed, very quiet (we were at the back), slept really well. Tea and coffee making facilities were a nice touch.

They need to provide different size pillows, the ones in the room were too large for us. The bathroom has some mold in the bathtub and could easily be fixed with some caulking.

The value for location and facilities for what we paid was great. The front desk staff was nice and the location within walking distance of the old town was great. Public free parking is nearby around the corner and if you want to pay 15 euros you can park at the hotel as well. Vineyards are close either by car or walk in town.

I stayed for 2 nights, one heading south; the other returning north. My room was upgraded for the second night. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, including car parking. It is only a short walk into the town. Beaune itself is excellent, with bars, shop and bistros/restaurants aplenty. I will certainly return to Beaune, and Hôtel Henry II!

Staff very friendly and room was large and comfy. Bathroom could be upgraded but still good. We had a pet and the room was great, big with clean dog bed and bowls. The bar and choice of drinks is excellent. Breakfast was great too.
