Tipi is located in a very charming part of Paris with a lot of genuine Parisian atmosphere yet close to Gare Montparnasse .

Great location Very basic room. It was hot and there wasn't a fan. It was quiet and great place for local food and walking around Paris.

The room was, as ever in the more modest of Paris hotels, compact. The main room light lacked a shade.

The room was fine with a view over the street. It was quiet and along the street there was a mixture of restaurants, many shops, some of which resembled a fresh food market, a real village feel. A pleasant walk to the RER line to Gare du Nord. I look forward to maybe staying there again if passing through Paris. The most comfortable matresses ever!!

The walls are not soundproofed, I could actually hear my neighbours speaking.

it's pretty small and design is quite cheap. BUT still for 2 stars and for Paris - not bad at all!

Noise in the morning from the road to the front of the hotel

Location is fantastic. Nice area and close to metro lines into the city centre. Lots of nice food places nearby. Better to have the back of the building as rooms at the front are very noisy in the morning

Room was very small but when you are in Paris, you need room just for sleeping. Room size was not problem for us.

Great location near train station and metro stations. Easy to walk with luggages from stations. Also few sightseeing in few hundreds meters away. Main sightseeings in few kilometers away. There were lot of good pastisseries and restaurants in few meters away. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. Price was good. Definitely will be back in this hotel.

The position, close to the station but in a delightful side street with good shops, cafes and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent.

My friend and I liked this hotel enough we stayed there before our trip through the Pyrenees and after! It's the best location for an authentic Paris experience. Cafes, the smell of bread, and a short walk to the best place from which to watch the Bastille Day fireworks.

The location of this hotel is amazing. The street becomes pedestrian only on the weekend, and there is an abundance of bakeries, shops, and cafes to sample from. Very close to Montparnasse train station, and easily accessible from the metro. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our bags after checkout before we had to head to the airport.

Easy to find and close to Metro Station and Montparnasse Station which we were travelling South from next morning. Had a walk along to the end of the interesting street and had a great meal in the Hanoi Restraunt, turn right outside hotel and it`s on the left. Lovely!

Insulation You can hear everything, people talking next door and the shower. When the door room closes automatically it makes a huge noise.

I enjoyed my stay at Tipi, there was nothing during my 2 days there that I didn't like. I would definitely stay here again.

Tipi hotel is in a great location and I found it very quick and easy to get to all the places I wanted to visit. The hotel is on a mostly pedestrianised street with lots of cafes, restaurants and fresh food stalls. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel as there were so many tasty options nearby. I found my room to be very clean and plenty big enough for one person. There was space for my bag and a few hangers to hang a few clothes. The double bed was very comfortable. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful.

Walls very thin could hear the neighbour having a shower

For central Paris its a great little hotel in a nice quiet street with nice restaurants, cafes and bars. The room was comfortable, bed comfy and the bathroom adequate and clean. Would recommend this hotel for a city break 5 mins walk from Monparnasse

Old tv and only in french. Don't have wardrobe.

Very good location. Close to cafes, boulangeries and super market. 40 min to Eiffel tower and Louvre. Tiny room but very clean.
