Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe restaurant gets very busy in the morning. It would have been nice to have a dedicated coffee bar so we could run down to get a coffee to take back to our room without having breakfast.
Great view from our room. The room was pleasant and clean and we really appreciated the free water every morning.

United StatesWe arrived around 11:00am which of course is prior to check-in and as we anticipated the room wasn’t ready. We were able to check in partially meaning, they took our credit card and charged our room. They told us our room would be ready at 3 but they would text us if the room was ready sooner. We never got a text. We returned to the hotel around 4pm the lobby was full of guest from your groups. Our room was to have a view of the Eiffel Tower. When they assigned us a room they tried to stick us on the second floor. Every single building around the hotel was taller than 2 floors. The view would have been terrible. I complained about it since we had been there to check in at 11am, way before most people. The process took over a hour (remember we had already checked in and paid. We only needed a room assignment and keys). A supervisor was able to eventually get us in a room on the 10th floor of the 11 floor hotel, which was nice. However, the hot/cold temperature on the shower fell off in my hand. I told the front desk the next morning (around 8am) as we headed out for a day on the town. When we returned at 4 pm to get ready for a dinner show, the maintenance man was in the room. Eventually, everything worked out. While the above may sound like I am being difficult, when you are only in Paris for 2 nights and 3 days, every minute counts. All in all it was a good hotel and the view was spectacular. My recommendation would be if you do check in early make sure whoever checks you in knows you want a room on the upper floors.
A very short walk from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower.

Armenia1. The kettle was broken. 2. The tablet inside the room was not working. 3. The room is too small. In the pictures it seems bigger. 4. When we did recerve, we asked to give us room on a higher floor, but in the reception, after we paid money, they told us that there is only one room left on the first floor. The view from the window and balkony is not the worst, but also not the best.
Generally everything was good. 1. Location 2.Staff 3. Breakfast

AustraliaDuring our 6-day stay, we were not greeted once by staff (except the cleaning staff). After coming from Rubens in London, where staff addressed us by our names, to walk through the lobby at Pullmans and not even be acknowledged was an extreme contrast. We don't need for staff to be pandering to us, but we felt unwelcome; we could have been random people walking in off the street for all they knew. To spend the amount of money we did on the two rooms for 6 days and not feel important enough to be greeted even by the doormen, was certainly a shock and a disappointment. It was like we were in a business hotel and nobody cared we were there.
The hotel is beautifully located near the Eiffel Tower, which made it a great location for our first visit to Paris. The views from the hotel are spectacular. The rooms all had balconies; we chose these rooms for both the views and the size. The rooms were wonderfully big for a week stay. The facilities were clean.

United Statescustomer service is poor, reception wouldn’t pick up the phone many times, room service staff was rude and difficulty to deal with. I was traveling solo and got a room with the Eiffel Tower view and had a photographer scheduled to take photos. I needed the big table for my photos, as I’m in influencer and this is my job. Honestly, they received a lot of free advertising from me as I have over 2 million followers, of course I never mentioned to the staff, because they should give amazing service as this is an high end hotel. They gave me a very hard time because of the table and said if I wanted a table I should order breakfast for 2 (but I was traveling solo, which would be wasteful). my problem was mainly with room service and reception not picking up the phone. I expected more if I’m paying $800 per night

Hong KongThe soundproofing is really bad. It’s true that you can hear the cars from the balcony but that’s not the worst part. We heard the water of the shower of our upstairs guests at midnight and the neighbouring room’s guests non-stop talking at early morning. The bathroom leaks and I think almost everyone mentioned in their review already.
It’s very close to Eiffel Tower and the view towards the Tower side is stunning. The staff are generally helpful and friendly. spacious room

FinlandWe had to wait for a long time to check-in and then the next day to check-out. Staff isn’t fast enough. The room floor had some stains. Sound isolation isn’t the best. Bathroom shower was leaking, it is a bit broken. Shower cabin tiles were quite dirty as well as the sink. As for breakfast, it’s overpriced, and for such an expensive hotel it should be included in the price already. The fruit salad for 8€ wasn’t tasty, some canned pieces of pineapple with loose apples slices. The area around the hotel is quite disturbing, we didn’t feel safe enough.
We got the promised Eiffel tower view from the balcony.
