Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomQuite a few things needed attention but let me add first of all that , although disappointing, they were not unsurmountable. First.. none of the lightbulbs worked in any lamps, one lamp had a broken bulb in it. There were areas that hadn't been dusted in a long time eg the lamps, the bathroom shelves. The rubbish from previous occupiers to was building up and spewing across the back as something had been rummaging among it. The back bedroom radiator didn't work. Some cutlery had dried food on. The oven trays were greasy. The plates had a greasy film on them. The landing light was really dull and there was a tear in stairs carpet making it precarious to carry baby updates at night. There was a sewage smell downstairs, masked by plug in air fresheners. Company offered to come out to look at radiators, arranged refund of lightbulb expenses. So we worked round the issues but disappointed that it was necessary in the first instance.
I liked the Large kitchen. Handy to have access to washing machine and microwave as opposed to staying in hotel when travelling with baby. Quiet location. Good parking. Good communication with company renting it. Suited our needs for the 10 days.

Cutlery/crockery dirty, in one of the rooms the bedding had spots of blood on it, with the other two rooms having what looked like unwashed bedding, plenty of cobwebs around. In general, the house needs a thorough clean as it's evident it has not been done for some time.

IrelandIt was not as nice as the photos had shown on the website. The bulb in the hallway & main bedroom were blown. The house I assume was to have been cleaned before our arrival as the terms and conditions stated we depart before 10am for the cleaning crew to work. The house was not very clean, carpets were not vacuumed, the mirrors had never seen a cloth, the dust on the light fittings was very heavy. If there is a cleaning firm employed to clean this house, they are not doing a good job. I’m not a fussy person but I was disappointed with this booking. I’m amazed that Booking.com has it on its website.
The only thing good was that it was close to where we needed to be. The heating and hot water system was good also.
