Even though it says there is no reception I was met by a very friendly and accommodating staff members who were very helpful and made me very welcome and they both made a great breakfast.

The hosts were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcome. The guesthouse is a beautiful regency property and retains many of the original architectural features, which was a delight. There is a huge open-plan sitting room/kitchen area in which to socialise. We enjoyed sitting here, soaking up the Georgian splendour, with a few drinks before dinner. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Perfect central location for exploring the city and the local parks. We would definitely stay again!

Only having one night to enjoy it! :)

Absolutely loved the communal area with big squishy sofas, a gorgeous kitchen with hot drinks at any time and big dining table. Getting greeted by the most adorable pup was a huge highlight. The room was really comfortable and we were very happy with everything. Great location too, walking distance everywhere (if you are ok with a bit of uphill) Very friendly hosts too.

Nothing, its great and we’ve been several time. If booking remember it’s an old building - so you may have 2 or 3 flights of stairs to climb….

Lovely Georgian building in a quite square right in the centre of Bristol. Very easy to walk to key attractions. Beautiful and very comfortable rooms. Warm welcome from host.

The noise from the toilet flush macerators in neighbouring rooms was a little intrusive.

Nothing .really . On street parking is expensive and irritating but we opted for the Park and Ride ( 505 bus within 300 metres) . No TV in bedroom that on a longer vist may have annoyed . But DAB radios provided made this feel like a retro retreat .

Charming and quiet and refined accommodation. Situated in the University sector overlooking a rural garden square . Breakfast cooked to order . Friendly staff and very comfortable. Pretty much perfect.

A traditional Georgian House in a square, very close to Bristol museum, Cabot Tower. Lots of restaurant and cafes close by. There are nice walks and good bus services nearby.

Only negative was the noise from plumbing/loo flush etc, which I know is just one of those things … so don’t hold it against the overall stay.

Brilliant mattress. Fantastically creative and purposeful use of smallish space. Everything that I needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Wonderfully relaxed communal kitchen space for making late night tea and having a snack. Friendly, personable staff. I had a really great stay, thank you.

The accommodation warns about the noise coming from the sewage pumps, so you are not surprised, however their noise wakes you reliably up whenever someone in or around your room uses the bath.

Everything you can expect when travelling for one night in connection with the Bristol University: Smooth self service check in, clean & tidy room, quiet location 3 minutes away from many breakfest opportunities and Wils Hall, good connection from & to the airport.

Loved the decor and the building, but mainly enjoyed the friendly staff and the family feel of breakfast. Bed was amazingly comfortable.

Actually, nothing.

Basically, I liked everything. Very helpful hosts, spacious room, home-cooked breafast, amazing common room. Very combortable bed, I slept like a baby. Everything was though of - a large bottle of water in the room, a good size writing table, toiletries, - everything! I was a bit cautious when I booked as to what's the difference between a hotel and a guest house. It turned out guest house is way better. I now have a place where I am staying every time I come to Bristol.
