Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI didnt like the bad reveiws left fir this property that do not reflect it whatsoever, we read some negative reveiws and almost changed our minds but so glad we didnt. Great value for money and unless your a Karen whose expecting gold plated door handles and taps you cant go wrong.
There is Wifi thats very good which we didnt expect. The caravan itself, well id prefer to call it a lodge as its so spacious and well set out you wouldnt think it was a caravan, it even has a bath!! The site has so many activities to offer , and for £15 per person you buy an activity pass which is valid for the duration of your stay, includes swimming pool, entertainment, and access to the cash bingo . Lovely huge bar on site with huge outdoor area which is also heated at night, arcade for the kids, plenty of things to do on site for the whole family, from segway hire, pedal karts , rock climbing wall, play area entertainment team , pool table, onsite free cash machine. Great place . Easy to find your caravan just read the email before you arrive it has all you need to know!! Its easy if you follow the instructions and look at the map for CV17 on the map over to the far right , in a nice private corner of the site.

United KingdomThe Caravan was my issue. Lots of little things that could easily be rectified. When we arrived caravan has no number, the gate was propped open with the mop and bucket, The hoover left in the middle of the sitting room, cob webs on the light fittings, lamps not working, Kitchen taps lose and wobbling around, both small bedrooms had light shades missing to expose lamps and wirers, wardrobe in main bedroom full of old curtains pillows, quilts and chairs, under the bed frame was full of someone else items , the most dangerous item was the bath which you cant use as the taps have been replaced by a shower bar ! as the bath has no anti slip dimples this makes it quite slippy when having a shower, the shower rail and head have rust marks on them, the fridge/freezer has rust around the bottom of the ice dispenser and children's toys all sat on the top of it. the cupboards in the sitting room full of DVD's but the DVD player was removed just the wires left and the draws were full of kids drawing as I said lots of little things but do begin to irritate when you keep finding things, come on sort them out wouldn't take long !!
the site was fine and the staff helpful.

United KingdomWe booked to stay here for 2 nights. We left after the first night and will never return. Once we finally located the caravan (there is no sign/caravan number), we were disappointed on arrival. There was an awful musky smell, the carpet was visibly dirty, and there were crumbs all over kitchen worktops. It didn't look like it had been cleaned after the last occupants left. The booking email says JJCleans4U are responsible for cleaning, and they should be contacted if there are any issues. The owner needs to review this service as they are either not cleaning or their standards are extremely low. We didn't bother call JJCleans4U as we had two young children and needed to make sure it was cleaned to our standard. We also had a family gathering to rush to. Luckily, we had antibacterial spray and wipes, and there was a hoover available. We spent our first hour cleaning up and making beds. In the process of cleaning, we found numerous issues that need attention. Broken items, rust, damage to doors and furniture, (see pics). The most disgusting part was the faeces on the wall in the bathroom, just behind the toilet roll. If it's not faeces, God knows what it is. This caravan has so much potential, but the dirt and repairs seriously let it down. The utensils are damaged, and we didn't bother to use the toaster or pans, etc, based on their appearance. We bought our own plates, cups, and cutlery, thankfully. The children slept well (aged 1 and 6), but the double bed was awful, uncomfortable, springy, and the worst bed we've ever slept in. It was cold the next morning, and we needed to use the heating. There is no black lever to turn the heating on as described in the instructions. We managed to figure it out, but this information needs updating. This experience totally put us off caravan stays. We were glad to be leaving a day early.
The microwave was clean. The kids slept well.
