I would happily go back, but there were a couple of minor things that for a little cost could massively boost the user experience: clean the windows, the view deserves it, descale the kettle, get a small bottle of water on the fridge ( would be so apprecated especially on a hot day)

The Bed ! the mattress was too soft we are used to a bit firmer, shower cubicle was quite small and had to manoeuvre to get in it which was awkward with a back problem, size of the room was small especially for two people,

Location was very good bus stop right outside and easy to get to town, parking right outside so didn’t have to move the car or pay parking, staff were friendly, but had a few worries about what was gluten vegan and dairy free as were given normal milk instead of soya and sausage wasn’t gluten free and vegan which if eaten my daughter would have been very ill so I would say more care on allergens in future is needed, but on the up side I was very impressed that they got some weetabix the second day for me after asking if they had some on the first day of our stay,

We were in an attic room which was overpriced we felt. The bathroom wasn't clean - lots of dust. There were tea stains on the wall in the bedroom and the tv wasn't connected and my husband had to connect it himself. The price didn't include breakfast. I had messaged ahead to ask about a gluten free breakfast but when we arrived I didn't have much choice. We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was excellent. We both felt that the service and cleanliness had gone downhill. We would have mentioned all of the above to the staff but we didn't have the opportunity.

The location is great and it's a nice looking building. The breakfast room is light and well furnished.

Welcome on arrival. Room 9 (loft conversion room), poorly ventilated and on a warm day, this room is unbearable. Fan which was equipped in the room would be better suited to a large industrial unit. The room definitely did not have a view.

Location on the seafront is good. Breakfast was well presented and nicely varied.

I extended my stay in Brighton for one more night. I was staying in another hotel needy door before hand. The room was dirty and the carpet not hoovered. The lock did not work and so I couldn’t sleep because I didn’t feel safe. The price was almost double then what I paid at the first hotel where I had a safe room, 24/7 staff presence and also better towels soaps etc.

The staff were amazing I had no issue with them at all. The breakfast was okay.

Our room was on the top floor which meant climbing up 62 steps. If you are old, infirm or have a large or heavy suitcase then you would definitely need a room on the first couple of floors

Opened the window to get fresh air in the room to sleep but because of the strong wind the window frames, doors and extractor fan all rattled and reduced the amount of sleep we would normally get. Cracked sink and mould around sealant at bottom of shower.

The room was described as seafront, but it was on the side of the building, so it wasn’t truly a seafront apartment. When I inquired, I was told that the seafront apartments are double the price, and that’s that. The gentleman that let me in at my 9 o’clock check-in was less than welcoming, and made no effort to help me, at 67, carry my bags up three flights of stairs.  the gentleman truly made me feel like I was putting him out. The parking arrangement and also the noice from the road. Single windows only which is no noice blocker. Carpets would need to be cleaned yet.

- very small room - very noisy road - room was hot and you couldn’t keep the window open due to noise from street - the sea view was a side view and whilst pleasant it wasn’t what I expected - duvet cover had marks on it - smell of breakfast cooking three floors down permeated the room every morning

The staff were friendly, the location was good, the view was nice. Nice to have a mini fridge and complimentary water. Parking was free for guests.

The location of this hotel was excellent - close to city centre and right opposite the beach. Very nice host who was very helpful and sympathetic when I had to book a new flight.

the place is nice and in a great location. It feels homey and nice. However it needs some TLC. The view towards the sea is great however the windows so dirty you cant look out. Small things like toilet paper holder broken, window cracked, bulb missing for bedside lamp, iron not working. These are small things to fix that would have moved the place from good to great.
