United Kingdomterrible decor the art and design of interior was very outdated and looked cheap, the food in the reflection’s restaurant and the bars was incredibly overpriced especially given small size of portions. they need a proper mixologist behind the bar as could not make a decent cocktail despite charging £20 for each one.

United KingdomAll staff were lovely except one very rude woman at breakfast. She kept puffing at us when my husband was ordering breakfast. It felt like we were ruining her day or something. Not a pleasant old lady at all. Thankfully a different member of staff served us, she was very nice. And if you have children and plan to go to the pool, make sure you go at the right times (7am-8am and 7pm to 8pm) because we were told from 8am and we almost didn’t get to use it. Thankfully the lady at the hotel reception let us use it as it was empty.

United KingdomThe "suite" was spacious but pretty basic, I was forced into a suite because I had a tiny chihuhua which I dont understand, something about other hotel customers allergies which is nonsense, regardless it wasnt in the prebooking details, or on the website before booking and telling my whole family we are going away for a treat. The most annoying thing is that for suite prices for my two children werent allowed to swim in the pool except between 7-8am on Sunday or 7-8pm on Sat, for £500 a night you would think you were allowed to use the facilities. They claimed that this was in the booking confirmation (it was definitely not) like the dog issue but definitely was not or I would have cancelled and gone elsewhere. Was mothers day on the Sunday, hotel made nothing of it at all - nothing. Breakfast was poor - inedible, not one of the four of us had a good dish despite ordering all different things, I dont know how this place has the rating it does, Staff were rudely polite,

United KingdomBreakfast entry was met with it is continental or extra for a full English which meant i had to point out that we had stayed the night and it should include the full English which I felt should have been checked in the first place as it made it an awkard situation. Also the slight downgrade i have given the overall rating is due more to the spa area - the staff are pleasant but it seems really disorganised and they do not seem to know you by name even though we were there for 2 days and 5 treatments; they seem to rush you somewhat and if you ask them how they are, several did seem slightly 'fed up' and that isn't nice as an answer to a client.and there is no tea or coffee facilities in the area. Towels etc are left on chairs not being occupied as were there for several hours and not removed by the cleaning staff.
Lovely room although the garden view was non existant as there is a large tree and shrubs directly outside the windows so no view at all. Really warm and comfortable beds. The afternoon tea was pleasant but the black coffee that i requested was a small expresso size in a larger cup; it would have been nicer with a coffee pot like the tea pot that my daughter was given. Nice to receive a complimentry plate of cakes from the room service for my birthday.

United KingdomThe pool area is small, so if busy, you may not get a lounger. The inside hot tub did not seem very hot, and the water from the jets came out cold, but the rest of the spar facilities were good.
The staff were lovely, and the food was great. I went with a vegan and found the options at dinner a little limited but said that the food tasted great, we also found out a vegan afternoon tea was possible. Spar facilities were nice to hang out at and area was very relaxing.
