For a Deluxe King room, it was small, bathroom even smaller. Despite getting maintenance, the room safe didn’t work. Toilet dripped and toilet roll slid off wonky holder.

Staff were helpful and aimed to fulfil requests. Large, comfortable bed. Clean. Fresh milk provided in fridge in corridor. Pleasant pool, sauna, steam room.

Our room was next to and over looking a building site. The construction on the site woke us up at 8am. We were not told or warned about the building site.

The staff were welcoming.The food was great We ordered food and drinks and sat outside in the Walled Garden in the sun.Breakfast was lovely .I loved the coffee machine in the room The swimming area was great also

Wish the spa was open a bit later hours closes at 8:30pm

They have ice machine and a fridge filled with milk outside the room which me and my partner thought was a great idea!

I hate the bathroom so small for executive room I came earlier than 11 but the staff said she will check if I could check in earlier but she never came back to me. I had to go to the reception where I have to ask Kajal that it’s 11 and I am paying £65 extra so if I can go into the room. That was annoying. It’s not good value for money as it’s my first time in Preston. I didn’t feel welcomed really If I would go back there …. Definitely not unfortunately

Break fast was very good and staff in breakfast are polite and nice unlike the other staff as receptionist etc… they have a snub attitude with them Location is good to come back to London Good parking

Internet access in the bedroom was intermittent and poor. Our bedroom overlooked an unattractive and noisy building site (hotel extension).

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located for our trip.

On the first day, we checked in a few minutes to 10pm due to an accident on the road but the restaurant was already closed and most of the food places around, were also closed. We had to go and eat McDonalds. Maybe look at extending or making provision for late check-ins.

I was happy about every thing that I received at Barton. The bed was excellent. Sometimes I struggle to sleep on a bed that I’m not used to, but this did not feel like that at all. The room was very clean and neat. We had everything at our disposal. Breakfast was very good with staff assisting all the time. Oohh, the Spa, I really enjoyed myself. Walking distance to Crabtree narrow canal and plants place. I loved it

The safety of the entrance and the staff were brilliant at accommodating us, especially the lovely gentleman on reception, answered any queries we had (sorry, i forgot his name as it was late! We had come from a wedding in WYRESDALE). We used facilities at the spa & had aromatherpy massages (which were amazing!) Keira (Sorry if spelt incorrect). Fantastic, she fixed a shoulder issue I've had for a while & just knew without my prompting. It was one of the best massages I've had . Thank you to all the team. Lovely stay
