The parking area out the front is small. If there are other guests, it can be tricky to park without blocking other cars. Especially if you have a big vehicle.

This guesthouse is located just outside the town of Oban. Less then 10 mins drive. The guesthouse is on a quiet road. Perfect for light sleepers like me. My room was a converted attic, I'm 5ft 10 and I tought the headroom was fine. There was a little fridge with a bottle of water and fresh milk. There was also tea, coffe, sugar, crisps, porridge. The fresh milk was a lovely touch. So many places give you UHT milk which I think is rubbish. This small thing was an example of the care and consideration that the hosts have taken with their accommodation. The bed was large, firm and comfortable. The TV had an Amazon FireStick which was used to access free to air apps to watch UK TV. But it also had Amazon Prime. Which meant I could watch my favourite shows. Again a lovely extra. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was good. There was even a bathrobe to wear after. The WIFI was fast and reliable. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The host met me on arrival, along with her beautiful husky. She was very welcoming and helpful.

Absolutely everything, it was immaculately clean, super well equipped, warm, comfortable, cozy, a real home from home and only a gorgeous walk away from Oban and the gateway to the islands. Incredible little touches.

Couldn’t find anything we didn’t like! Just perfect

Everything, from the room to the bed it was perfect! The room is nice and cozy and perfect when you travel together! The bed is so comfy, we had the best night sleep since a long time! Ready to continue the roadtrip! All the little touches make it so great, from crisps and oats for the morning and water and milk in the fridge. Also private parking on the property! The host was lovely as well! We will definitely come back here!

The water pressure in the shower was a little disappointing.

Well equipped - it lacked nothing and the Valentines wine and chocolates were a lovely touch.

Choice of pillows would have been nice. Pillows very flat. There was the smell of dog in the hall, but not in the room.

There was nothing we didn't like, as we enjoy quiet country settings. It is worth mentioning though that it's not walking distance to the main street so you will need your car or a taxi.

We stayed in the gorund floor self contained apartment for our overnight in Oban. It was spotless, extremely well equipped (particularly the kitchen), very comfortable and perfect for two, with loads of great little touches such as complimentary porridge pots and crisps, milk in the fridge for tea and coffee, and a dram of whisky! Amazon TV and loads of board games too, so plenty for the evening or if the weather isnt great. Plenty of parking and space finishes the place off nicely. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked another stay next year, this time for 3 nights.

The suite was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Everything we needed was there and more, it exceeded our expectations. Doreen and David, our hosts had thought of everything even down to porridge pots for breakfast! We had a wonderful stay in a wonderful home.

This was such a comfy and clean room. We had everything we needed for our one night stay. The bed was very comfy and large, the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The owners were both welcoming and we really enjoyed our cosy space. It is a short distance out of the centre of oban but don't let that put you off. It felt so peaceful and still convenient.

Stuck in Oban due to roads being blocked. Doreen was so helpful, letting us stay a bit longer until the flooding cleared. The room was spotless, with great views and lots of lovely little extra touches. We had a great night's sleep. Great value and exceeded our expectations. Thanks so much for all your advice on the state of the roads.

Location was amazing. Nice and tranquil and had character. Terrific view from our bed and had everything we needed. Even drip coffee machine. Very comfortable bed and everything you could possibly need. Would definitely stay here again. Doreen is a fantastic host.

Only stayed one night

A fabulous find. Room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Spotlessly clean Fantastic facilities. Fresh milk, amazing extras. On suite had fantastic shower gel, shampoo etc. absolutely everything you need and if you didn’t have it Doreen would definitely be able to provide it.
