I agree with another review here, the photos do not do this place justice. Such a wonderful stay. Loved the quirky style. Absolutely everything has been thought of. An abundance of comfy dressing gowns, continental breakfast in the room, fresh milk, fruits and juices. And the private hot tub being covered means you can use it an all weathers. Would love to stay here again.

Loved staying here, very friendly hosts and fabulous atmosphere. Felt really comfortable, a real home from home. Loved the decor and the artwork. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again and highly recommend this beautiful hall. :-)

A wonderful location, lovely large room with huge en suite bathroom. Fabulous range of pastries, biscuits and hot drinks options. Extremely comfortable. Access to private hot tub made it extra special. Hosts lovely. Will definitely return again and again.

The pictures don’t do this hotel justice. Beautiful and in some ways quirky. The hot tub is a great way to relax in its own secluded area of the garden with Bluetooth speakers.

No qualms with the property at all. Booking.com lists it as pet friendly, which it is, but pets aren’t allowed on furniture and our dog loves sleeping on beds and sofas so was a task keeping her off. There was also a £20 surcharge for her. The price was still an absolute bargain for the luxury we received, just a little misleading from Booking.com’s advertising for people looking for a place to stay with a dog with poor boundaries. No fault of the hosts!

Loved the property and the view was gorgeous. The bed was very comfy and I loved the decor. The amenities were a nice, appreciated touch - as we were leaving early for a hike it was nice to be able to eat and go when we needed to. The hosts were lovely and very easy to talk to which is always a bonus.

Spacious with outstanding views. Little extras - hot tub, robes, cooked breakfast in the room. Andy and Serafina were excellent hosts and our dog was made very welcome 😁 The weather was amazing 🤩 Four poster bed was very grand but a little uncomfortable.

Absolutely beautiful room and huge bathroom. My husband loved the hot tub. Fabulous views of Dollgellau and Cadir Idris. You had a Continental breakfast in the room which included bread, cereal, waffles and some cake type things. Fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. Netflix on the television which again was great. The decoration was quirky and so interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

Penycoed hall is a beautiful guest house with brilliant views over Dolgellau and Cader Idris. It has very large warm rooms with a comfy four poster bed, and a huge bathroom.

Wonderfully quirky property with the most amazing views. Serafina is a fabulous host, really welcoming and makes you feel at home and like nothing is too much trouble. The tea/coffee/continental breakfast supplies in the room are a great touch and sitting having breakfast in the comfy robes with the incredible views of Snowdon was a wonderfully relaxing treat!!

Just Beautiful!! A gorgeous room, everything you can think of provided. New en-suite bathroom and the hot tub was pure heaven. Andy and Serafina were so friendly…a real home from home. Views were just amazing! We will definitely return.

Electric shower could be better. Needs more towels as room comes with hot tub use.

Breakfast was really good. View is magnificent. Room is spacious and luxurious. Comfy bed. Everything is in the room, even some complementary things in fridge., snacks etc. One of best places I've stayed.

The wonderfully quirky and interesting mixture of modern art and traditional antique furniture really sets the grand old building apart from most accomodation we've stayed in. The very comfortable bed was a highlight and the view from it, through the large bay window, gave the mountain backdrop of Cader Idris .. absolutely glorious! Relaxing in the jacuzzi after an energetic run and walk in Coed y Brenin was just lovely.. Serafina and Andy were perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome. We'd definitely recommend this to our friends and we hope to return in the future.

I absolutely loved it here !! The whole place was amazing I didn’t want to leave ! The quirky decoration the gorgeous bed , the hot tub , the gorgeous pancakes brought to my room for breakfast 😋the views …. The list goes on 😊 the hosts were so friendly and welcoming , honestly felt so at home !
