The breakfast was so bad the second day I went out to eat somewhere else. Nobody at reception. Was handed the phone by someone to figure out which my room was, while given all the bookings to search through with other guests information to look for my own booking.

We knew that there may be no catering while booking but due to the location breakfast and evening meals were close at hand.

It was what we expected at the price

This was a value for money stop, if your expecting it to be of a high standard don't go. However, I would say the people running the hotel are aware and have priced accordingly and hopefully they are going to improve as they go.

Everything!!! We checked out a day early, and the shower was cold, the carpets are thred bear, the pine furniture is rank the beds have the cheapest worn out mattresses we had to put the quilt from the single bed onto of mattress to me it bearable, RANK!!!

Everything even payed for breakfast included and never even got that on the 1st morning we was there never got a refund either.

We didn't like anythink about this hotel the head office lady was so rude to us we didn't even get to stay the 3 nights like we payed for she made us feel very unwelcome and the hotel well it was very dirty even the cups were honestly I'm sad that me and my children were treated like this and I like to take it further as im not happy with being treated the way I did we had to come home early so our holiday was ruined because of how rude this owners were how can they think its ok to speak to guests like that it's not on its rude.

The 1 member of staff was very rude and abrupt. Had a go as to why there were 2 adults and no info on the baby who sleeps in a cot. Had to pay an extra £100 for baby to stay. No bed offered!!! Had to put us in a different room with broken lights which would b fixed the next day...they did not get fixed. The bathroom was extremely small and pokey. Shower was broken, no running water, other than the tap. Toilet flush only one button. And then to top it all off woken early to a stranger coming into the room, where we were in!!! We did not have food in the establishment but lovely food on the sea front which was less than a 6min walk. The second member of staff was very friendly. No staff around till late morn or early aftannon. The hotel is very noisy banging and crashing doors slamming early in morning. You can also hear the other floors easily. No change of any towels, bins empty, no restock of any items at all during our 4 nite stay.

It was 6min walk away from the sea front and food.

Location perfect! Budget price is what it is! But consideration for others costs nothing!!!! Doors slamming all night! Constant people running up and down the stairs! Was woken this morning at 115am for the third time this stay! Ridiculous for even a budget hotel! Definitely would not recommend it! if you wanted to relax on holiday and sleep! Pay the extra! Responses to the reviews says alot!!!! AVOID!! AS EXPECTED! THE RUDE OWNER COMES BACK WITH SARCASTIC COMMENT! If anyone reading this has any sense. Royal pier or Bay View far superior hotel!

I ended up in a twin room so had a single bed although I booked a double. I didn't complain as I had a front facing and wasn't prepared to jeopardise this :-) My sink had cigarette tar marks on the side and when I used it a cigarette butt rose up from the plughole. The shower wasn't powerful at all but did the job.

You can't grumble much when I only paid £45 for the night! The 'bed' was comfy and the shower was hot. The room temperature was a lot better than a Hilton!

The owner was very rude. She shouted at me saying I didn't have a booking, while I was already in the room with my two guests. At breakfast I asked for a soft egg it was hard. She replaced with scrambled egg. When I told her it's should have been a soft egg, she said they had no more eggs??!!!!! Disgusting person. Also shower tray kept filling up. Terrible stay. Stay away people.

Firstly, the cupboards were broken and fell on the kids. This is very bad and very insane. The curtains also fell on top of my daughter. This is very, very bad. On your website, you said breakfast was included. However, they didn't provide us with any. This is insane. We just wanted a peaceful holiday, but this hotel ruined our stay. We are very unsatisfied. We need something back for this. What refund will you give us. We are very disappointed.We were in room 10. The screw from the bunkbed hit my child and he started bleeding On the other hand, the staff were very good. They were very helpful. They were very polite. I want to say a big thanks to staff. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Will you give any refund for this?

When I booked the room, it stated that breakfast will be included. 3 days before the arrival date I received an email saying that they will not serve breakfast and will provide us with refund. When we arrived there was someone at the reception to take us to our room, and when we went downstairs later to ask about refund, no one was there. I tried to phone few times, no answer, I emailed-no reply. Eventually someone call me to say the will refund us £10 (which we can't really buy 2 breakfasts for) but can't do that right then, because they're not at work and will phone us at 6pm to take card details. No one phoned and no further answers to my calls. The room was very dirty. rubbish on the floor, under the beds and below desks. The mattresses was the poorest quality I ever came across. The room was cheap but the service was no-existent and room was awful.

Carpet lifted when opened window Surely floor boards Shower blocked and overflowed asked to be fixed but never did. Paid bill on day if arrival and got charged again £60 more on the Monday leaving Made to wait 3 hrs before signing in Attitude of woman was very rude No entertainment or bar open in hotel. TV packed up and only certain channels Towels where stained and smelled of chip fat.
