Really comfy and clean, there’s no staff at the hostel but you don’t even notice about that. Everything is perfect and the location is super! You can walk to all the main touristic places

I didn’t see a single member of staff and didn’t know how to contact them if I needed them. The bathroom area was a little cramped. It was a shame that Wetherspoons was right next door as the deliveries and rubbish removal disturbed me at 6am.

The communal space and facilities were great. the pods were spacious and light with good storage for personal effects. The showers were brilliant.

The code system is very difficult to work through. Many people sitting at the door trying to get,in but having difficulties because the e-mail didn't arrive, or the temporary code before 3 pm didn't work,. There is a button to call an operator, but sometimes they are after hours. Also, one toilet and 2 showers on each floor for all genders and not always operational. You can go to any floor to use facilities, so a minor problem. A bathroom on the ground floor beside the kitchen/common area would be a plus.

Staff member is there every day to change linens for new arrivals and clean the common areas. Home from home! Kitchen is great and, as I like to cook, I prepared a few shared meals. Felt very comfortable and safe. Property is in a great central location. Staff responsive at all times.

There was only one toilet for my floor and only one working shower, which wasn’t enough. I don’t think it was worth £150 for one night! Especially when there are no staff onsite.

The pod bed was private and comfy. I liked the coded door.

The rooms are small for 6, it is very noisy outside every morning, the bathrooms have only one toilet on every floor (for 12 guests) and on my floor one of the showers wasn't working

I arrived after 10pm so a bit late and left early. I did not know where to find a communal area to sort myself before i head to the train station so i ended up getting ready on the stairs! is there a communal area at the property?

Staff answered my call immediately when i phoned to ask about which code to use for the door. The dorm was very quiet, clean and would certainly book again if staying for few hours in Edinburgh before traveling. Shower was also good.

The only minor problem was that if you forgot to put in your ear plugs, you were awoken early in the morning by the pub next door throwing out bottles. But when you put the provided ear plugs in, you fell right back to sleep.

This hostel is perfect for what we needed it for. A base for the weekend to sleep. The beds were comfy and spacious. The facilities were great. Lots of places to keep luggage, belongings, charging points, ear plugs provided. This hostel is in a perfect location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Being able to draw curtains around your pod is an especially great idea for when you're sharing with more than one person in a room.

The lockers in the rooms are not that big and I had to squeeze my luggage (small hand-luggage sized, albeit thicker suitcase) in.

It‘s super close to Prince‘s Street, yet not noisy. So you have both Edinburgh‘s New Town or Old Town to choose to explore from here. The kitchen is on the ground floor and you can easily buy food in nearby supermarket and make and eat it in the kitchen/community space.

In the morning it was VERY loud, as a few bars empty their bottles into the bins outside and it goes on for a while. It's deceiving as it's a small street and you think it'll be quiet. This is also probably why they supply ear plugs!

The kitchen and communal room are quite small for the number of guests in the hostel. I stayed for about 5 weeks, and one of the two showers on my floor wasn't fixed. Also just one toilet per floor. Not having any staff apart of the cleaner made things difficult sometimes, especially when checking in

Usb power outlets are broken and never fixed during my stay In morning the delivers are loud. Wear ear plugs Bathroom a very tight squeeze I wish the hostel was more social and a better lounge area.

The hostel was perfectly located close to bus stops and attractions. Beds were spacious and included a nice shelf. Overall i enjoyed my stay. Would stay here again. Beds were comfy

Lots of noise from outside, not from revellers though but from bin wagons at 6am visiting the wetherspoons next door. Have say that sleep pods have great soundproofing, a snorer in my dorm was barely audible. Price and location make up for the 6am recycling lorry!
