I stayed in all hostels around Edinburgh this one is the best one for sleep.

Perfect location, great shower room, super lovely and friendly staff. The only thing I didn’t like was my room was in the basement and it smells a little bit, I’m sure if I was put in another room on the first or second floor, it would have been better.

Walls were a little thin so you could hear everyone in the laundry room

Second time staying here - this time in a private room with a shared bathroom. Room was cosy and private - bed was comfortable with power and USB charging points available. Towels were provided in the private room. Bathroom was shared, but was clean and accessible. Great staff - very easy check in process. Paint and sip activity was also fun

Pods were cute and clean. Can get a bit warm at night but solved by opening the curtains a bit. Facilities were great, bathrooms were the best of any hostel I've stayed in. Staff are friendly and there's free walking tours and evening activities. Really great location, I was pretty much able to walk to anything I wanted.

No kitchen facilities while renovations are under way , none were offered in the booking info so not a problem . Will be even better when the work is completed .

Brilliant location , very central . All staff were welcoming and friendly . I went to an event in the evening but there appears to be some sort of activity on offer in the bar area every day. Porridge for breakfast was very good . Excellent attention to detail in. every area , even enough hooks to hang everything in the shower !

First of all, the location is very good, the concept of the hostel is a bit unusual but I liked it, it was very nice to have both a hostel and a cafe together, the cleanliness is sufficient, the staff is very helpful, if you are thinking of staying, do not hesitate.

- The new restaurant seems to need to figure out a more efficient training system for its young staff: I had to repeat my order three times to a waiter, it took +15 min to get breakfast several of the days I was there, and the order was wrong a few times. I stopped trying to have breakfast there after a couple of days. - The bathroom (showers) could use a little bit more cleaning on the ground floor.

- I've stayed here a few times, as it has an excellent location, friendly atmosphere, and it feels safe for a place that sees so many people come and go. - Considering it is a capsule-style hotel, it is comfortable. You'll still probably get woken up by your neighbours if you're a bit of a light sleeper, but everything is done to try and make you as comfortable as possible.

It was perfect stay in an amazing location. Leave your luggage for couple hours it’s a great bonus. I love that place and probably will stay there on my next trip.

Location is superb and staff is helpful and nice. All spaces are clean and beds are comfortable. Minus is always the people you share room with, in case they do not respect the others, sleeping can get quite challenging.

Not really a place to get some silent time on your own, but it's a hostel so you get what you get! :)

Shower pressure wasn’t the strongest.

Loved this hostel. The pods were comfortable and private. The locker was big enough to fit a suitcase and a backpack. There was also a little cubby for shoes and hooks in the room for jackets/costs. Charging pods in the pods, as well as a rail, hook and shelf. The bathrooms were large and clean. Shower pressure wasn’t overly strong, but did the job. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The café downstairs was nice and guests were offered a discount. Great location - so close to everything. There was a lift and they offered luggage storage. Room access was with a code which was helpful - didn’t need to remember to bring a key with you

When cleaning the room, the chair and other things one the floor were piled on the bed. Felt a little unhygienic.

The staff were really friendly, chatty, and helpful. Not in an overbearing way. The restaurant discount (if you're staying at the location) was a nice touch. Fun theme to the place. Amazingly located.

It seemed a bit overpriced for a hostel stay. The room itself was quite small and the locker pretty small too.

Had your own separate pod to sleep in with a curtain. Location was great.

Wifi, there is no wifi in the dorm. i have to stay at the hallway to connect. Good thing there is chairs and table, but would be better if wifi is working on the dorm
