Just in my floor some bathroom doors didn’t lock properly.

Everything! Bed was so comfortable, pillows and duvet were fluffy. The room has a nice distribution. Location is excellent, is just in the centre. Bathrooms were clean and enough, most of the time was the only one using the bathroom so felt pretty comfortable using facilities.

Bed was a little cramped for me being a bigger guy, but it was fine.

Amazing location, awesome staff, and great facilities. The building is pretty cool, and has some history behind it, especially the downstairs/underground part.

I was disappointed to discover after booking and paying that you were not allowed to eat in the pods, with penalties of £50 fines if you were found to have done so which would be taken directly from your account from the card you use to pay. This seems a bit over the top. I like to have a snack while near of in bed before going to sleep and don't always feel like going down to the communal eating area to do this. I understand they are worried about a mess being left but there could be signs asking to be careful not to leave a mess if eating rather than completely prohibiting it. Also it felt a little stuffy with lack of air but thankfully there was a window that I opened that solve this issue 😀.

I like the property, nice architecture and in a nice part of edinburgh not too far from Edinburgh Waverley train station so convenient to get to after a long train journey. The pods provide privacy and at a affordable price.

There’s a strange sound of running water through the building which can be eerie but nothing necessarily bad.

They’ve changed the breakfast options to only buying specific items as opposed to buffet style. It’s really lovely and quite a personal service.

Maybe having 1-2 toilets more in the bathroom of the third floor (don't know about the other floors). And a prompter clean-up of the bathrooms during the late nights and early mornings of the weekend could be a good thing.

The pod was comfy and I didn't get the sense of claustrophobia that I thought could have been possible. I also liked having spacious lockers inside the room to be conveniently used.

We were in the 14-bed dorm, it was down stairs and there was minimal fresh air, therefore quite hot, stuffy and smelly to be honest.

The location is 10/10! The pods are surprisingly ‘roomie’ and comfortable. Decent kitchen, and they serve beer!

There is only 1 hook beside my bed. No other to hook for long jacket and tower.

The staff is amazing. Very helpful and friendly Especially have a walking tour you can join for daily, and it’s free Bathroom have quite a lot so won’t be a problem. Hot water heat up very fast. Even have a washing machine and dryer over here.

Opting for a private room with a shared bathroom at this hostel was a enjoyable experience, providing excellent value for money, outstanding cleanliness, and a comfortable, private space. With the pod curtain closed, the amount of oxygen in the pod gets quite low during the night worsening the sleep. So I left my curtain slightly open during the night. This solved the problem but slightly decreased the level of privacy and some light got into the pod, for this reason I'd recommend a sleeping mask.

The staff is very friendly and the neighbors were rather silent (also earplugs helped). The location is superb!

Location was excellent, also the atmosphere. It was easy to get there and find your own spot. They have a nice common space in which you are able to spend time and maybe do some writing for example. Room was quiet and bed was nice to sleep. Also liked that the place was clean and well organized. They even had live music in the evening. And the breakfast (waffles) was also so tasteful. Really enjoyed.

The room is a bit small for 8 person. Will be crowded if everyone have a big luggages.

The property is located in the old town,so it's a little difficult for the tourists who have a big luggages, Because of its topography. But it close to most of the meeting point for tours. Love the decorations of this place. My First time slept in a Pod, which was quite interesting. It's perfect size for me and have 2 kinds of lights inside and curtains to keep private. The full equipped kitchen is big enough for everyone.

Maybe the matress could be more confortable and the breakfast with more options.

The pod was really cosy and give you all the privacy. The location was perfect just in the middle of the old town and the Royal Mile. Staff very helpful and welcome. Kitchen with a lot of stuff that you can use and the showers are great too.
