Just the bathroom was a bit further away and the showers weren’t so clean, but that possibly could be that I used it right after another person.

Loved the pod beds, it gave so much privacy even though I shared a room with 15 others. The location is quite central, easy to walk to all the main attractions, very nice and friendly staffs. Also loved the short and sweet free walking tour.

Showers and toilets are not integrated into the rooms, so they were shared by many people. To access the hostel from the station you must take the city stairs and walk up to 5 minutes, which could be non ideal if you carry heavy suitcases, but this issue includes other hostels and hotels in the Old Town of Edinburgh.

Excellent location, just a few steps away from Waverly station. Staff were very kind. The hostel has many areas from leisure to work, indoors and outdoors. Well equipped kitchen to cook your own meals and store your food. Regarding the dorms, beds were comfy and clean, lockers were available. Cleanliness was overall pretty good. In the forms, beds and furniture have a particular design/layout, which is known as the CoDe pod. I personally was happy with this, and I could sleep very well!

Everything was just perfect! The location is excellent. The hostel is stylish, hipster, with a very lively energy. Guests of all ages, nationalities, wonderful atmosphere.

it was hot and the fan didn’t really move enough air to be noticeably effective. however it was manageable. I didn’t have an issue with this but I would advise caution if you are claustrophobic (due to the heat, underground location of the dorms and the bank vault style decor)

nice design of the dorms and pods, big lockers, motion sensor soft blue lighting in the dorm that was helpful but non disruptive, clean bathrooms with hot showers, nice communal areas, excellent location, good value

Courtroom was noisy, mainly due to the high ceiling and windows being left open to the street

Very impressed with the facilities. Solo sleeping pod was super comfortable, private and quiet i crashed straightaway. Luggage locker was very big and secure. SUPER CONVENIENT location right smack in the middle of the city centre

It was too noisy. Lots of signs asking for people to show respect after a certain time but prolonged noisy guests did not seem to be approached by staf, as it continued for a long period.
