Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe see through shower and bathroom. It was frosted glass but you would have seen quite a lot - good job me or my mum didn't need a shower, it would have been a bit awkward! (It was a private twin room)
Location was brilliant, right on the royal mile. It was novel and good for me and my mum who stayed the one night for an Eagles concert.

The whole atmosphere of Code Pod was very relaxed, but we felt extremely safe. Our dorm was clean and comfortable and everyone was respectful. We really enjoyed our stay and the privacy we had with the pod bunks.

The staff are very friendly! You can seek their help with any questions. The booked room looked clean and the shower room was clean without any bad smell. The location is very good. Great for solo backpacking!

AustraliaOnly downside is if you plan on making your own breakfast instead of paying for the buffet, good luck finding any space to do so as it’s a small kitchen and everything js covered by the buffet stuff. buffet looked like a good option though (I was on a tight budget)
Love the pod beds, super private even with a shelf and two coloured lights and coat hooks. Rooms also come with locked cupboards for every person. Bathrooms even great for a hostel

AustraliaIf I were to be picky I would say the cells can get a little stuffy at night with the curtain closed but obviously that’s not too much of an issue.
A refurbished jail located right off the Royal Mile. The concept of staying in a “cell” is really quirky and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place. Breakfast was only an extra £4 which was great value for money. they also offered a lot of services such as a walking tour etc.
