The cleanliness of the (female) bathrooms was not always the best. There should be more routine maintenance.

Excellent location and the staff was very helpful and caring. Good breakfast, the waffles are indeed the best ones I've ever had in an ho(s)tel. No need to bring an adapter, because the establishment uses USB sockets.

Pod sockets are USB A, which is no good if you want to use a fast charger or a USB C to C cable. My iPad barely charged overnight. Expensive compared to other hostels, but for the most part deservedly so.

Spotlessly clean, easy check in, friendly staff, amazing location bang on the Royal Mile. Everything is very solidly built and I didn't see anything out of order. Showers were awesome!

Bed was a bit short and narrow. I'm Dutch so fairly tall for a woman, 1.75m. My friends who are taller would probably find the bed too short and as you are in a pod you can not stick your feet over the edge like you would in a room. Toilets a bit messy with paper on the floor.

Great showers, love the relative privacy and calm of a pod in a dorm with nice light and charging port etc, decent breakfast, super nice staff, location is perfect, interesting building.

The fact that the sockets next to the bed only support USB cables (couldn’t charge my (i)phone while laying in bed, only downstairs in the lobby. There are normal sockets in the room as well but they are not really practical).

Comfortable and private pods, clean, nice breakfast, PERFECT location and nice staff! Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed!

The restrooms could be bit cleaner, not that they weren't cleaning it. I actually ran into someone who was cleaning the room. It's just there are so many guests using one shower room/toilet.

The location was very convenient. A lot of tourist attractions were in a walking distance. The receptionist were very helpful.

Getting into the pod (a glorified bunk bed) was awkward and you do need earplugs as there is high probability that someone will be snoring (I know I do...). The showers works fine but there was nowhere in the cubicle to put clothes, so hard to keep them dry. Not much variety for breakfast, but then it is cheap, so fair enough.

Amazing location for the price. Breakfast was OK, but nothing special and had run out of coffee, though later discovered you can buy one at the bar.

I was on the top bunk row of pods and the walls on either side only went up a few feet. While the level of privacy was fine, this meant that anyone awake once the lights went out would have their lights visible from other pods.

It was pretty warm in the room even tho we had our window open, but nothing too bad. It can get quite loud outside as well, even in the night so earplugs were a good choice, but again it was nothing too bad and thru the day it was actually quite nice to hear the city life.

The breakfasts were amazing, comfortable beds, it was pretty private for a hostel, friendly and helpful staff, cozy atmosphere, lockers with a code, nice showers, awesome location and such a cute view from our window, great system for the shared fridge, everything just worked as it should and we really enjoyed the stay.
