The only issue was that the communal areas were divided into 2 - one is a public bar/cafe and the other a guest kitchen. They had limited space at busy periods during the day and you are not allowed to eat in your room, so this made it a bit tricky sometimes to find somewhere to chill.

This is probably the best youth hostel I have stayed at, such a novel idea with the pods which provides both privacy (as if you have your very own room) and also means if anyone comes in late or is sick, you are not disturbed. Best shower I had my entire trip! Nice idea to make the bathroom floors black - makes it look clean. Excellent location, walking distance to everything. Finally a youth hostel that has enough lockers for every bed! Surprisingly this is not common.

There is not much to complain here. Only a few more cozy couches or chairs in the reception/ lounge area would be nice.

Only complaint is that the laundry needs a better system or some way to reserve them. My entire stay it was busy and I ended up waiting an hour so I could use it before moving onto my next destination. It’s very nice having that resource but needs to have a better system.

I stayed in the 14 person hostel and The Court is a perfect hostel visit. The facilities are very up to date and clean along with the staff being incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommended for traveling on a budget!

The windows are high and small since these were jail cells and they do not provide free milk and coffee powder (or I didn't notice), but they do provide free tea bags. It's a bit high price for a hostel but I understand.

The location is central, just IN the Royal Mile, and the beds have curtains which is a plus for the room The bathroom is clean and has better facilities than the hostels I stayed at, so I guess these are the reasons that it charges more than the other ones as well.

I pre-booked a night for Taylor swift weekend.. I paid 35 which I felt was okay. I checked right before and they were price gouging for 197 for the same bed... I personally find that super tacky. I get price surging but that was pretty ridiculous imo.

perfect location, super clean. pods felt nice and private. usb only chargers in there so just bare that in mind! Own wee lights in the pod if you need to get up early. Code system works well. Lockers in the room were pretty big too; would easily fit a large backpack/carry on.

Showers were not really clean, it's not necessarily the staff's fault because people are not respectful and don't clean after themselves but is a bit repulsing to enter a shower and see bunch of hair on the floor and the walls

Location is perfect; from there, you can walk straight into the heart of the Old City (which in my opinion is the best part). The sleeping pods were nice, clean and cozy. I REALLY appreciated the free Wi-fi! Personnel was friendly and willing to help.

Friendly staff. Loved the black coffee and pastries. Quiet and peaceful at night. Very comfortable beds, pillows and comforter. Very secure with keyless doors.
