The train went by our room every night if your a light sleeper it will bother you. The heat in the rooms is stifling even when turned down to the lowest temperature. There's a small shop in the reception area but the prices are crazy.

The location is great. Loads of great eating places near by and short dander to the underground. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are very standard more of 3* at best but do the job. Not the biggest bed for 2 people sharing either but it's clean. Could do with an upgrade on the TV.

Hot food orders finish at 9.30pm Bar staff smell of body odour after long shift.Detectable when passing drinks around.

I expected the standard and size of the room to be better/bigger for a four star. I thought the amount we paid was good value for a four star hotel, however the room we had was very small and the furnishings etc were quite tired, what I would associate with a three star. The air circulation system in the room was very dated and not working properly, we selected the lowest temperature for our room and it was really hot. We set the controls to get an acceptable temperature. This worked on the first night but failed on the second, it was too hot. We didn't use any of the hotel's other facilities e.g. bar, restaurant, cafe so based on the bedroom and bathroom I would say it's equivalent to a budget hotel e.g. Travelodge.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us as we were visiting the museums and the price of our stay was reasonable. The left luggage service was really helpful before we checked in and once we had checked out.

We were on the 12th floor and the room was quite hot, even though we turned the temperature down. We were disappointed that when we asked for the room to be refreshed rather than cleaned, we returned later on in the day to find that our used mugs had not been replaced for clean ones and the bed was unmade.

The close proximity to Kensington High Street.

Bathrooms need modernisation. Restaurant and lobby staff are civil and courteous, but sometimes there's an air of "I hate my life" about them, especially if you need anything explained! Hotel and property still have incredible potential to be memorable, I'd love to see it realized with a little more love and attention to detail.

Comfortable, very clean, very spacious, great location. Had a pleasant stay. It's a little worn out in places, but would still choose over any 3 star in a heartbeat for the same money. We got a good deal relative to other London prices, so well done on that. Would stay here again.

Poor finishes - bar staff need a little more training, served a fruit drink and didn't shake bottle. At times they struggled to understand language

Breakfast was very good. Although I did feel the hotel looked very tired. The carpet in the dining room was nailed down. Lots of sealant in the bathroom, a bit of a patch up. Room was clean, but again some areas were very tired

It’s hard to mark down as everything was great but there were a few minor areas that were looking tired around the hotel . For example paint around staff access areas and upstairs hall way. General wear though.

Need to have an option of using stairs - I don’t like trying totally on lifts- on one occasion the lift broke while we were in it and the doors wouldn’t open

When we arrived we were told we had no reservation even though we paid in advance and had even confirmation. Room was constantly hot especially during night- there wasn't a way how to switch temperature. Also walls are rly thin. You can hear your neighbours all the time. Another thing was that we got “connection” room - it’s not the best when your neighbours try each night to get into your room and keep trying it even though it’s locked. It would be nice if we were informed about this before and assured us that the connection room is locked and informed even neighbours that there’s no need to keep trying to get in.

Location of the hotel is great - just few mins from Earls Court and High Street Kensington. Rooms were cleaned daily including even refill of shampoo, shower gel, coffee, tea. Rooms look similar to pictures of them here on booking just furniture is outdated.

The location is unbeatable. Absolutely fantastic. The hotel is good. It could be updated, and the noise from the train is fairly disruptive, but given the location and the cost it is a fair compromise. The staff overall are friendly. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss but not awful. Overall we spent a lovely few days in London and we're comfortable, safe and happy.

Room fridge froze all our drinks and food. Room was dated. Basin draining very slowly and water was collecting behind toilet. Not a fan of shower curtains !!

Don't book a room that overlooks the tube tracks. Really quite noisy. And remember to turn off the mini bar fridge for the same reason.

A good size room with quality towels in the bathroom and generous tea and coffee making facilities.
