Couldnt access the pool or sauna after 7.30, was told it closes at 8.30 but said 9pm on their website

There was a member of staff that rang me accusing me of smoking on my room when I don’t smoke told spoke to me awful when ringing my room didn’t listen to me when I told her I didn’t smoke told me she was adding £250 to my card and slammed down the phone

I was asked if I had payed for breakfast. It turns out my booking didn’t include breakfast, I assumed it was part of the B&B booking. It isn’t clear on the booking of breakfast is or isn’t included.

The carpet in our room was soiled and didn't feel "clean."

Loved the character of the property, the gorgeous scenic location and the friendly staff. The breakfast was awesome.

TV didn't work. Could have been more attention to detail with dusting. No vegetarian gluten free mains on menu.the economy rooms are in a separate building behind spa.

Very Spacious room 6 and comfy bed. Free spa access. Beautiful trees and courtyard. Low cost. Paid for upgrade to stay in main building. Really good staff.

An army of flies in my room and buffet breakfast wasn't great, dinner was a bit pricey.

The location was fab, the price was reasonable and the receptionist was very helpful.

The mattress in the room is lumpy and ypu can feel the springs underneath you, the curtains had suspect stains on and definitely needed a wash. We went for breakfast at 9am and it was pretty much cold, the flames on the bain Marie were off. Very underwhelming

The pool and spa facilities are amazing, lovely and relaxing, The bedroom was large and spacious with plenty of storage for luggage and clothing. Stunning location and the grounds are really pretty 😍

The hotel and facilities feel a bit run down. The plaster was cracking in places the pipes were hideously loud, and the spa needed repairs

Steam room was disappointing. Food was a let down. Ask for steak which was cooked beautifully but a but small and gritty. And came with a whole salad tomato and one lonely soggy mushroom not worth £27.

Loved the pool, hut tub and sauna. Staff were polite and accommodating. Room was clean and comfy.

Constantly waiting for a member of staff at the bar and in restaurant. Even checking in I had to go find a member of staff as know one was on reception.

Sticky tables by the bar we almost had to peel the menus off the tables but it made a funny sound!!.

Breakfast at 9am was good but the 2 staff were rushed off their feet as they had to cope with a wedding party.

We loved the friendly welcome by the very cheerful receptionist, it made such a difference to our stay. Thank you! Beautiful grounds, great breakfast, cute little cats, and spa facilities were an added bonus. Much gratitude 🙏

our room wasn't that clean a sweet from a previous occupier was left on tv unit also a peanut In the corner .At the spa there was hardly any steam in the steam room also shower was not working ,the lockers had no locks so had to leave belongings in open locker
