Self serve breakfast, half browned sausages, soggy hash browns, no brown sauce, given bbq sauce instead ( saying it was brown sauce which didn't go with the breakfast). Breakfast staff not very welcoming or friendly.

Friendly , helpful staff on reception ( male) and gym lady . spa facilities, room and served breakfast on 2nd day was much nicer. Quiet and relaxing.

There was a wedding taking place at the hotel. We mostly did not notice, however the spa was far from relaxing the following day when they were all in there, not the hotels fault but it did detract a little from the relaxing getaway we had planned. Food was a huge let down. In comparison to previous visits it has taken a big downturn. Unsure if this is an effect of covid and staff retention but it did seem as though most staff were very young and inexperienced with no experienced staff to help/train them. A shame as we have previously very much enjoyed this hotel.

The room itself was very dated and had lots of damage (holes in the carpets and the walls). The room itself was very cold and the radiator didn't work. It was also very damp - our belongings felt damp the whole time we were there due to how damp the room was.

The spa was great, nice facilities there. Got to use it whenever you wanted if staying at the hotel.

I was a bit worried about the previous reviews But it was more than what I was expecting for the price, location and setting. People forget this is a 3 star hotel in Wales with spa facilities and breakfast included. Good value for the money you pay We stayed in the barn room that is like a small flat with kitchen, lounge and an outside patio facing the gardens Around 8 minutes away you have a small town with lots of things to do

The bed rooms was lovely and big but very dated... Bathroom i would definitely say needed updated at toilets wasn't the best as didn't flush very well, breakfast wasn't worth it. As we walked to our room the stairs has a must smell but thankfully every where else was fine no smell. They had a lovely bar but it felt cold as in empty, no one there its like it needed something. Mattress was very uncomfortable.

It was such a beautiful place, the grounds was so pretty and loved how big the area was, great car park, has a spa and swimming pool which we didn't manage to use. The bed rooms was big.. Staff was friendly
