Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaHonestly for the size of the room it didn't feel like good value for money, though at the time we visited it was definitely comparable to others in the area, even those with lower ratings. I guess we just visited at a really expensive time of year. No breakfast included.
Very handy little place. Can't fault it for comfort, cleanliness and location, and importantly the staff were really genuinely helpful and friendly.

The service is so good. I went back to the hotel late in the evening and woke up the staff. I was really sorry, and he was very kind and asked me if I needed any help.

United KingdomThe averaged adult guy at the reception was downfall however, never greeted us when we first came and was just looking at our face for almost a min until we showed him our booking from my phone (atleast he could have greeted or asked or the least could have asked can I get your booking reference) , never even looked at our face was on the phone or on the laptop every time we go in hotel, didn't instruct properly for check in and also just handed over the keys and when we were about to leave he asked us "you know where you're going?" how are we supposed to know when he didn't inform us( he is supposed to tell us where to go what's our room and what is check in time and what is room service time and all without us asking in the first place). I mean it's our first time there so we don't know the way to our room or we don't know which room we were allocated. That was the first impression that made us disappointed but everything else afterwards were exceptional and we enjoyed the stay.
I liked how everything were nearby from the hotel (stations, taxi bookings, food store, fast foods, atm, attractions and all) Also the rooms were so clean. Housekeeping staff did a great job maintaining our room everyday when we leave the room in the morning and when we come back to our room at night all tired, the comfy and cleaned and arranged room (filled with new paper towels, towels, tea coffee and milk every time) made our day. That was the nice impression, the housekeeper hatts off, the lady in the reception is always smiley, and a guy (35-45 years old) was also good in reception

Very central to everywhere and bus and rail all at the end of the road, so makes London very accessible. Room was clean to a good standard and beds clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities updated daily as was cleaning. Very impressed and will definitely stay again when in London and the price for our 3 night stay was very competitive compared to other establishments in the area, who were sometimes offering less

United StatesI just needed a quick place to sleep and shower between a weekend and Spain and a flight back home to the US the next morning. This was conveniently located near st Pancras and would have been perfect had my Ryanair flight from Spain not been severely delayed (more than 3 hours). This meant I was arriving at the hotel well after midnight when the reception was closed. I appreciated that the hotel sent me a message to make sure I was still coming and helped me make arrangements for entry despite the late hour. I wasn’t able to sleep there for as long as I had hoped - or shower - but it still served its purpose well and I would stay there again if needed.

United StatesRooms were very tiny. A guest set a fire alarm off in the middle of the night that was very jarring. Staff worked hard to fix the issue as quickly as possible, but we weren't sure if we needed to exit the building or what. I don't blame the property for the guest stupid actions, and at least you know the smoke detectors were in working condition. I would stay there again.
The location right off King Cross/ St Pancreas station was ideal and easy to navigate to. Staff was kind, helpful, and attentive to request.

United StatesReally recommend some kind of door sign to indicate ‘do not disturb,’ it helps communicate so much for staff and other guests who may be getting in late and trying to open the wrong room. For summertime, the upper floor needs cooling, it was hard to sleep as there is only a desk fan and temps went up, there were a couple long long nights.
The staff is very kind and friendly, it is cosy. The location is great, next to Kings Cross / St Pancras station
