The rooms were very small, the breakfast room was extremely crowded and noisy.

Good price-perfomance ratio with regards to location. The city center is within easy reach. Large Breakfast Buffet is included. Very nice multi-national ambiente due to students from everywhere in the world. Very nice surroundings of colourful flower beds. Nice dinner at the Arthur's pub on the campus.

Room was basic but satisfactory. Time of my visit meant University students were to return in the next few days, so the very large building was eerily vacant which felt rather insecure. In future I would try to book this type of accommodation mid-season.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was easy to get to by bus or walking (although the campus could be a bit confusing to navigate sometimes). The free breakfast was amazing, and made the stay well worth the money!

    Nothing

Such a wonderful experience ! Location was amazing and to be able to stay in the university is atypical! Parking was free, and you can Go in the center of the city by bus or walk. Room was clean and like in the picture, you are not in an hotel. Breakfast was phenomenal so much choices and it was very very good, the best of our trip around Scotland It is located in the cafeteria in the university, you have fruits, scottish breakfast (Vegan options), yogourt, pastries, juices and more !!

Its a college dorm, with school trips and so on. Facilities are adequate, but student-like.

Great value for the high season at Edinburgh. Personnel around the clock. Great breakfast perk.

They were having huge problems with their payment system which they admitted was incredibly outdated. Cards were being declined, and even after payment finally succeeded it actually seemed to cause a technical problem with my bank account that left it blocked for the next hour showing "payment issue" error.

Nice to be in a setting of international visitors to Edinburgh during the festival. Great breakfast buffet, fine location. Basic student facilities but all you need for that kind of stay.

The mattress was about destroyed... Also, the corridor can become very noisy at night when the students are back... But if you're into parties can be ok

I liked the buffet breakfast and the mood of the people and the ambience

There was a plant facility on the ground floor in a building behind the room. It was quite noisy. There was no problem as the equipment was powered down at about 22.00 hrs. However, on the last night I was there it was kept running all through the night.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, the shower and toilet facilities were adjacent to the room and the breakfast was excellent.

Every time someone closes the door, you'll hear it, because the doors have a gap near the floor. The rooms are small, rather too expensive for what you get, but this is an expensive town. There was no hairdryer. The location is a bit too far away from the city centre so you'll have to commute by a crowded bus or walk.

The University stay was the cheapest option in Edinburgh. The breakfast was great, I'm glad it was included in the price. The campus is beautiful.

I prefer walking everywhere but it was a little bit out of the way for my preference.

Breakfast was better than a a typical complimentary breakfast (more choices, better variety). Beds were comfortable and sharing a bathroom with the floor wasn't bad. Everyone kept bathrooms really clean. Towels were provided. It was also near a bus stop.
