The only thing I regret is not staying longer.

Completely worth the money. The place is beautifully arranged with flowers everywhere, you can smell them as soon as you step out. The breakfast is awesome, you have literally everything you want to eat, plenty of options. The staff incredibly kind and helpful.

No plates or cutlery in kitchen near room. But we were able to get some free wooden cutlery from the shop next to the restaurant.

Big room, comfy bed, clean linen, warm room. Reception friendly and helpful. Able to take a breakfast pack with us one morning as we left for an early tour. Breakfast In restaurant busy but good selection of food. Lovely grounds and close enough for us to walk into town each day. 2kms. Kitchen close to room where we could eat, also a laundry available- very cheap for wash n dry.

The door to Building B cannot be opened by the card, so we can only bypass Building C. The front desk knows this situation, but no one has solved this problem for three days

The location wasn’t right down in the main area but it was easy enough to take the busses.

The staff and property were great. It was clean and I had plenty of room.

The bathroom light didn’t work (I did not report it until checking out). I was hardly in the room. I read other reviews that mentioned the light so no big deal. Although showering in the dark is impossible and leaving the door open I was worried I would set off the fire alarm.

The location was amazing. I got where I needed to be. I enjoyed my room in the John Bennett building. The check-in process was a bit crazy but we got there in the end. It wasn’t too bad just have a little patience. The staff were so lovely, all staff including those in the cafeteria. Breakfast was definitely a highlight. You use your key to access the buildings so keep it with you.

Everything worked, so accommodation was as expected. A bit pricey. but I guess that's Edinburgh

parking was easy, room was as expected as comfortable enough, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was super.

Duvet and pillows thin but this is personal taste and was still able to get a good night's sleep.

Location fantastic with good access to transport. Breakfast choice really good and always replenished quickly. Coffee and tea facilities in room.

The walls were very thin.

I was surprised how hotel like they had made it feel. The breakfast was exceptional every morning. Not too far from the city and all the action. The room was cosy and comfortable.
