No hairdryer in room - we could borrow one from reception but there were a limited number available so could not get one on the first day.

Clean, comfortable room. Pleasant surroundings. Very good breakfast (buffet with a wide range of options). Room had a lovely view of Arthur's Seat. Staff at the reception centre were welcoming and helpful.

We spent two nights here and we are very satisfied. Very simple rooms with everything you need and also very cleaned. The building is located 25 minute walk from the town centre and there are also a lot of buses going to the town centre in just 10 minutes. The area were the university is located is a very quiet one but at the same time there are shops and restaurant very closed. Breakfast was included and there really was everything anything, a wide range of food and drinks!

Nothing to report, would stay again.

Repeat visit for a few nights at the Fringe. Excellent breakfast as before. Also some evening meal options on site at certain times. If you're comfortable walking a little bit it'll do you fine. Not that it's really far, more that it's not quite close enough to pop back quickly during the day. Perfect location for if you want to go up Arthur's Seat. Quiet area. Good service from the staff/reception. In a twin room as 1 person so plenty of space. Chairs/desks/storage space in the room. Small shop on site too.

It was quite noisy, especially at night, and facilities were basic. However, I felt it was good value for money and it was what I expected from student accommodation.

Large comfortable bedroom with a sink. Excellent buffet breakfast with multiple choices. Good location right next to Arthur's Seat and walking distance to the city centre.

Some of the other guests were a little noisy in the corridors at times and the noise tended to echo in corridors.

Great value for money, good location, excellent breakfast. Room was small but we were expecting that. Very good value for August in Edinburgh, when prices are high due to the festivals. Easy access to key sites via public transport. Would definitely do this again.

It was a miscommunication but I had thought there were adjoining rooms so my family could be together. There are no adjoining rooms. Then we were told that we would be next to each other but instead we were down the hall from each other. As a family with young children it would be nice to at least be next door to each other.

Great location and price. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was fine. We had an accessible bathroom which just mean there was no place to put our toiletries.

Some desk staff not mature or experienced to do a good job. More thorough cleaning needs to be done. Strange smell in bed at times (pillow dirty?) Matching numbers of bag storage ticket with ticket in case not done meaning I could have taken any case.

Check in more efficient than last year. Wi-Fi worked well. Nice breakfast. Luggage storage.

    Nothing

The staff was super welcoming and kind. My room was fully furnished with a sink. Toilets and showers were super clean. The location is very quiet, only 30 minutes walking from old town and next to Arthur’s seat. There’s also a bus stop in the nearby.
