My second stay at Fir Tree Barn and would not hesitate to return - in fact it will be top of my list. Iain was welcoming, friendly and professional and we were shown to our rooms and everything was explained so well. The facilities were spotless and well maintained and the rooms had everything we needed. It was helpful to know that Iain was happy for us to text if we needed anything - this was great to hear after a 4hr journey from London! The bed was so comfortable and spare pillows in the wardrobe too, plus the room was nice and warm. The provisions for breakfast were brilliant - ample options for every taste and healthy options too including fresh eggs and fruit, and a brilliant selection of hot drinks. A really good stay and hope it's a longer one next time.

Breakfast was self service and accommodated for many different dietary requirements. Cleanliness of the bedroom, bathroom and eating area were of an excellent standard. Bedroom is spacious and very comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and certainly value for money.

All of it! The room was superb, the host was friendly and informative, the bed was the most comfortable one I've slept in, the shower room was lovely (we were in the disabled access room), the facilities were excellent and there was even an outside seating area. The self serve continental breakfast lacked nothing, there was so much choice and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll definitely be going back, already told all our friends about it. 😊😊😊

I cannot fault the accommodation or hosts at all!

Fastidiously clean, room was a great size and the bed so comfy! Self service breakfast was really good, with a wide range of cereals, fruits, pastries etc. provided. We had read the reviews before booking so knew our stay would be good but, in all honesty, our expectations were far exceeded. Absolutely would stay here again!

We liked everything.

It was easy to find. The carpark is nice and secure. We had a warm welcome from Wayne. Our room was lovely and spacious, and spotlessly clean and tidy. It was very warm and cosy. We had everything we needed and had a very peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast room was very clean and tidy, with a good choice of breakfast items. There is a very nice pub, The Kings Head, just a few minutes walk along the road, which does very nice meals and the locals are very friendly.

Rooms here are spacious, wifi is excellent, welcome from staff amazing, parking highly secure in private gated courtyard, breakfast is self serve and even comes with ingredients to make your own fry up if you wish. I rate this place highly above any radisson, welcome break, novotel or hilton for a fabulous , private yet home from home stay.

People walking up and down the corridor were a little noisy, but I've experienced much worse elsewhere!

The privacy, no one disturbed me. The use of the communal kitchen was ideal, it felt relaxed and comfortable while still to a very high standard.
