This is my second stay at Robinswood and I really enjoyed it. Staff are friendly and polite, the hotel is clean and quiet, no noise disturbance from any other travellers. I enjoyed the use of the gym and pool and the evening meal in the restaurant was lovely (fish, chips and peas with a trio scoops ice cream) Room was huge and spacious (Room 229) and the bed was comfortable. In my last review a few weeks ago I mentioned about the uneven carpark and was pleased to see that the issue has been quickly resolved with a new surface. Well done on a quick response, it's a positive result when a customer's voice matters! Thank you 👏🏼 👍🏼

United KingdomThe food was awful! Both me and my partner had food poisoning! We only had a few bites of our meal before we physically could eat anymore without being sick! At the prices we were being charged we expected good quality food, not food cooked from frozen! The on duty manager still wanted to charge us £45 for two meals that we didn’t eat and that was with the 25% off he gave us as we complained. Breakfast was just as bad and then a member of staff too my plate while my partner was still eating, number one rule when being a server is you don’t take someone’s plate until everyone at the table has finished unless they ask you to do so! It’s impolite! And to top it all off the water in the spa was cold, who ever thought that a cold hot tub was relaxing thought wrong! Honestly ruined my whole birthday!

United KingdomRoom was crazy hot very hard to sleep first night provided fan did nothing. Floor very creaky. Bar and food prices steep almost £10 for 2 pepsi max pints. No security on door at night or any staff on desk just a mobile number to call front doors still open for anyone to walk in. Steam room and sauna busy all day so didn't get to use really. No plug sockets near bed.
Great pool, good bar nice clean room. Bed comfy enough bathroom good size for the time needed.

United KingdomThe carpark surface needs some attention due to a few potholes which caught the underside of the car a few times. The bedroom window didn't close properly, one latch didn't work and there was a rip in the net curtain (Room 139). The window wasn't an issue for us as it was warm in the room, but maybe needs adjusting.
The hotel staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and we made use of the swimming pool, which was lovely..

United KingdomI think it is good but price per night is not adequate to quality of hotel. I got it in promotion last minute but I would not pay a normal price which went massively up for a weekend period.
Spa massage feature was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful also breakfast had a good choice and vegetarion option. Good location oposite park if you fancy a walk. Close to town and markets.

No sympathy or flexibility on the part of dining room staff even for just 2 people. Quite unexpected especially in an outlying part of a town. Went to a very poor pub instead, as the only option.

United KingdomDirty. A set of plates left outside a room for 36 hours. In the end I told someone. It was room 300 apparently it’s staff rooms. I had no information on arrival. Breakfast at 8am is just laziness. My room want cleaned nor the coffee and teas topped up.

United KingdomIn room 106 after a day of rain the drain was dripping constantly, I couldn't sleep. Breakfast on saturday morning was due to start at 8, we all arrived at 8 as we had early meetings to go to but they only just started bringing out hot breakfast, with freezing cold baked beans. It took about 30 mins to bring out all the food.
Pool is great, beds comfortable, service generally good. Bar was good and service good there.
