Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe host told us we would be in the upstairs room, when we arrived, there was a lady with 2 children already in that room. The tenant showed me her text message saying the host told her to stay in that room too. I called the host and the host told me I could tell the tenant to leave (really?! kick out a lady and her 2 children. wow!) We told her we would take the downstairs, not a big deal. Once we were settled, we noticed a sign on a toilet door that said we need to shower before 10:30 PM or after 7:30 AM. Strange. We complied though. It started to get cold in our room, but we couldn’t get the heat to turn on. I called the host and she told me she needed to “re-set” it. She did, and it worked for a couple hours, until I think she turned it off again. We woke up freezing. At just a little after 9 PM, the host knocked on our door and told us to turn down the tv. The upstairs family was trying to sleep. Funny, because we could hear them rustling around upstairs, never mind it was a little only 9 PM. Then, at 10:16 PM, the host’s dog starts barking very loudly right outside the front door. Then the host goes outside and starts talking loudly to someone. What a joke! Of the 7 nights we stayed all over Scotland, I had zero complaints! As you can see from above, it was a long 17 hours that we had there. We wouldn’t go back.
Property was decent, owner was difficult.

United KingdomLoved the stay, excellent location right beside the Skye Bridge. Room and house looked like had just been totally redecorated and was to my taste. Wasn't very sure of what to do on Skye as hadn't planned well enough but host had much local knowledge and was super helpful. Really friendly atmosphere all round. Found nice local place to eat a short walk away. Definitely recommend.
