How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Found it quite tricky to get hot water using the bathroom sink and realised the hot and cold are around the wrong way. It would be nice to be able to control the temperature of the radiator in the bedroom as found it very hot over night.
Clean and tidy and adequate facilities for a short stay.

The place could do with a lick of paint and a bigger bed.
The location was perfect for us some of our family live close by. It was a very quiet neighborhood and close to the park. communication from the owner was excellent. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival with all necessary amenities for our stay. The bed is very comfortable but a little small for two adults.

I think for me, the bed wasn't too comfortable, it was making too much noise, aside that, everything was very great 👍, I must say, in all it was a great stay.
Well, for this booking, breakfast wasn't included, so I can't really say anything about it. As for the location, it was an amazing one, very easy to find❤️.

Having to leave to come home.
Jing was very welcoming & accommodating to our needs without being intrusive. Our stay was very comfortable & the loft had everything we needed. Definitely would stay again.

Small but completely separated cozy locker room with a large private bathroom. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you may need: towels, dishes, tables, microwawe, fridge, water heater, hotplate, cleaning supplies and even an iron with a small panel. A bit far from the centre but silent neighborhood, bus stops and food stores for five minutes walk. Great value, perfect for two persons for a few nights. Also Jing was very nice and helpful with immediate responses and infos.

Nothing really.
The studio was very well equipped and very clean. The location was ideal for us as we were visiting relatives in Enfield town. The microwave and fridge were a great addition, there's also a hotplate/minicooker but couldn't work it unfortunately! Overall highly recommended..

INTENSE smell of food at midnight... I assume neighbours downstairs were cooking, so we were unable to fall asleep because of the smell

Maybe leave some milk in the fridge or leave some milk sachets out for coffee in the morning. Otherwise everything was fabulous!
Location was great to where we were staying. Host was super friendly and accommodating. Lovely little room with everything you need. Bed comfortable and it was lovely and warm inside. We left early in the morning so was able to leave the key in the lock box and go on our way. Would recommend this lovely host.

The cleaning of the bathrooms could be a bit better. Also, it was diffucult to carry the heavy luggage over the narrow staircases for the room in attic.
Jing is super helpful and kind! She helped me to get in the house and carry my stuff. The bed and the room were comfortable. The room has a fridge, cutlery, hair drier, ironing and basically everything needed.
