Fridge and shower wasn’t the best, fridge had something that had tipped and not cleaned up, and mould in shower, but as for the rest can’t complain, bedding was fresh and overall place was tidy. Also though could have done with a coffee cup went without my cuppa. Nice touch the coffee tea sugar was there but had I known would have brought a mug.

Lovely setting, pretty surroundings, great walks locally.

No Hob available to cook, only a microwave. No Towels available on arrival. External windows are single glazed. Signage could be better in terms of directions and what to do.

The lodges are in a good location beside a small river adjacent to the forest and national park. The lodges are spacious . They are within walking distance of Port Talbot. Very close to nature walks and trails.

Could have done with a cafetière for coffee. The central heating was on permanently which was a bit hot as it was warm outside. The stairs creaked allot, so you couldn't go the the toilet quietly at night !

The rooms were just what we needed, they were clean, tidy and comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed in there, there was a fridge to put the beer in and keep the milk and butter cold, a kettle to make a cuppa, The beds were comfortable.

The grass around the property was in desperate need for a cut, this simple task would elevate the beautiful surroundings. Also there were plenty of glasses, but only a few plastic plates and bowls, adding these would be of great benefit, some bbq tongs to go with the bbqs would also be super helpful for guests.

Fab little lodges with cosy beds, plenty of hiking trails near by and great little social club next door with super friendly locals. The manager was absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble.

The furniture provided on the ground floor was very old and dirty. We couldn't sit on the dining chairs as the seats were all stained. The leather sofas were all torn. There were cob webs on the windows and under the stairs and a few spiders too. Brown tiles in the bathroom and ground floor didn't give a clean look. There was no screen for the shower over bath and hence made all the bathroom floor wet. Had to keep cleaning the water on the floor with the mop provided. There was kind of damp smell in the entire chalet. The upstairs bedroom were ok compared to ground floor. They had carpets and radiators in all rooms. The carpets were stained at a few places and there were cake crumbs and cake wrapper on the floor in one of the bedroom. The spiral wooden stairs were really squeaky. Bed linen was clean but when I looked at the mattress protector, they looked as if they were not changed after the previous guest left. Overall ok for one night stay only.

The location was excellent, there was a stream flowing right in front of our chalet. There is a firepit area with seatings outside beside the stream. The area was quiet and peaceful. The sound of water flowing in the stream was really tranquilizing. There were mountains around and greenery everywhere. The chalet bedrooms were spacious and have central heating in all rooms. There is a small kitchen on the ground floor with a microwave, toaster, kettle, plates, cups and cutlery. Our chalet had an outdoor portable BBQ. Location is ideal to visit the Aberavon beach and Morgan country park, both are around 10 min drive from the chalet.

    As above

Great spot and the people were lovely and helpful. Cabins just need a little work. Faint stale smell and some bits missing namely; curtains that cover the whole window, shower curtain (no way to stop water flooding the floor without using our own towels), more cutlery and a working fridge (ours was warm even with the fridge band keeping it closed). Having said the above, it was a great location, lovely little river/brook through the site and really friendly people just needs some minor TLC to be amazing.

Lots of moths that hadn't been cleared in our accommodation. Basic accommodation which for the price seemed underwhelming. It served a purpose.

Location for what we needed was good. Quiet and scenic with a stream running thru the site.
