It was perfectly clean and comfortable and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for self-catering. Due to it's location it was very peaceful and quiet except for the beautiful birdsong each morning and evening. Lovely walks starting right outside the door and plenty of places of interest to visit locally.

The cottage comfortably accommodated us all for a family reunion. The beds were so comfortable and we loved the quaintness of the cottage and gorgeous countryside. Victoria was also great to communicate with.

Unfortunately the access road is quite narrow and overgrown. With a wider car you would probably scratch the paint because of the bushes. The house is very hidden - but on the other hand this creates a quiet atmosphere.

A very well maintained house. Traditional charm but still well-kept and up-to-date furnishings. Everything was clean and in order, with just a few minor exceptions. Above the normal standard.

Excellent location for visiting Knepp, Horsham and Leondardslee. Plenty of hiking trails around the surrounding countryside. Close to the pubs and shops of Southwater.

Mattresses were a bit saggy on the beds. Limited kitchen equipment for cooking. As with all self-catering places, there is nowhere to hang towels.

Kitchen knives need sharpening and would be nice to include salt as did provide tea and sugar. Slight intermittent noise from water system during the night which wasn't there the previous year - not enough to keep you awake or wake you but noticeable in bedrooms - just something that needs tweaking.

Convenient location for course that I was on with my friends - nice house - well provided - heating much improved on last year (thermostat worked).

The WiFi is really bad and if you need to participate in any online meetings then you're best bet is to stand just outside the front door and rely on any mobile data signal you can latch onto. However this was literally the only negative and not something I'd lower the overall positive review for.

The house was lovely and well kept, it was clean tidy and so much thought had been put into it. I'd recommend taking a stairgate with you if you're travelling with children, there was one available but it didn't have the wall spinners (if you have kids you'll know what I mean, I have no idea what they're actually called!) The space was well laid out and felt homely as soon as we walked in. Its advertised as a very very small space (under 100square foot) this is inaccurate, the place is really quite spacious

Honestly it was perfect

Absolutely stunning cottage, cosy and warm , plenty of space and storage , spotlessly clean and a very well equipped kitchen also in stunning surroundings with supermarkets and ammenities near by . We were visiting the area for a dance competition and it was so nice to return to the cottage in the evenings and have a home cooked meal instead of the usual pizza sat on a bed in a hotel room , will definitely book again if we are in the area and would love to visit again in the summertime PS added bonus it was pitch black outside and perfect for star gazing x
