Absolutely loved the log cabin , my husband and I took my sister as she was in dire need of a break , We all had an amazing time over the 6 days , I had just retired and it was so good to have a break , Room with double bed is a bit of a tight squeeze , came home with a few bruises from the latch on the bedroom door , Log fire was AMAZING , been to Dalavich 4 times now and still love it , Only down side was the size of the fridge , it was tiny as was the freezer , there was only 3 of us and there wasn’t enough room in the fridge for most of the things we brought , This cabin sleeps 5 , so I can’t imagine where they all store their refrigerated food , All in all , it was an amazing log cabin , we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it

If I had to really complain about something, when cleaning the cabin before we left, we found the rig in the centre of the cabin to not have been moved due to the amount of dust and little bits of mud underneath it. We don’t wear shoes inside our own home, so shoes weren’t inside the cabin. But I loved everything about the cabin and our stay.

Loved the little cabin! Log burner for the bonus! Little essentials left which were handy. Location is spectacular and the grounds were nice to walk the dog around in the mornings.

The kids struggled with no WI-Fi but it was a time to detox.

The property was in an ideal location with beautiful views of the Loch, quiet, serene and relaxing. Watching the wild life right on your doorstep was amazing and to top it all off, relaxing in the hot tub. We are hoping to go back next year and would recommend the forest cabin very highly, thank you for making our 20/24 Christmas magical.

We arrived at night. It was pitch black with no lighting and pouring with rain. We couldn't find the cabin. We had to contact the owner who informed us that planning permission could not be granted for lighting.

Breakfast at cafe was excellent with friendly staff and log fire.

I should have booked a cabin closer to the loch as I would have fished more.

Fantastic cabin. Had everything you needed and a wood burning stove to make it nice and cosy. So peaceful in an ideal location next to the loch with woods around for walks etc.
