Probably my fault for not flagging the situation with reception, but the room was quite cold although the thermostat was on the highest it could go and the bathroom towel rail did not work. I should also mention that the desk light was faulty (I didn’t need it but I didn’t have time to mention it in the morning).

My only issue is getting in and out of the bath to use the shower, not a lot of room and nothing to hold to, but it's a minor issue.

Location, cleanliness, room size and very comfortable. Very helpful staff and no rush to check out by 10 am, you can stay until 12 noon.

I could have done with another pillow however I never asked for one, (so not the hotel's fault by any means) but will do on my next visit to the hotel

The hotel was less than 100 metres from the underground so easily accessible. A short walk took me to Knightsbridge. The staff were very helpful and very obliging. A special mention to Yasmin and Tomi who made sure we could get into our room earlier than we expected.

Roadworks were started outside my window [first floor room], around 10.30. I asked reception to move rooms and they did so immediately. I relocated within 10 minutes to a supremely quiet room. Most impressed.

No complaints. Everything was as expected or exceeded expectations.

The entrance to the hotel reception was tucked down a side area as opposed to front of building. At first, it was confusing, as it felt like we were walking under a parking lot or a building , especially due to the low lighting, however, soon as we started walking down and saw the reception doors and opposite the hotel club members area, it felt we were walking towards some grand 5 star hotel. Staff were ready to hold the door open and offer their guidance. The reception area was so lovely. Felt vibrant and very warm and Christmasy as we visited during the festive season. When reading some of the reviews online about the hotel rooms, I was a little worried, but booked anyway as I know everyone has different opinions. The rooms were big, we booked the King Suite. The room, I admit, it was basic, but size, lighting, room temp, facilities etc were perfectly fine. Didn't have any complaints during our stay. The rooms are not massively decorated to everyone's taste, to me, it's just basic but I didn't pay to have a feature wall or anything, I paid for a nice hotel, in a good location with polite staff and clean rooms and that's exactly what i got. Can't make any complaints about this stay.

Hotel staff and room were all very good. Weather was terrible so spent more time than we would normally in the public areas and had more coffee than usual! All very pleasant and good service.

I stayed at this hotel regularly a few years ago and thought it was really nice. It's getting a little tired now though and could do with refurbishment. A minor criticism though and I wouldn't let that put people off staying here.

Their inability to repair a clogged plumbing issue in a timely manner after reporting twice over 3 days.

Location is close to the Tube, Buses and sites around Kensington. It’s very clean and up to date. Great restaurants and pubs close by.

The soap and shampoo were both completely empty. The menu for the bar was bigger online, very limited when we actually went there.

I requested a late check out for 3pm in the reception and paid the additional fee, however the same staff member who took care of my request entered my room at 1:30pm without my consent asking me why i didnt check out yet.

Location was good, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, close to the undeground station. Tomi from the reception was exceptionally kind and helpful and assisted us with adding an extra bed to one of the booked rooms which was not planned earlier. Rooms were comfortable, they vary in size and configuration but overall rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

Breakfast was great to our taste, service desk - especially Kinjal’s great and service minded attitude (e.g. she could upgrade me and my child as there were availability) - was awesome! The third item to mention is the fantastic location: you can take the tube basically everywhere, as the underground station is very close to the hotel. Very good for our short 4 day stay in London to experience the most of the city.

We have stayed here many times through the years but it seems when one books through a third party rather than direct with hotel-you receive a less desirable room. Our room this time was over the casino front door and the people out front smoking, laughing and talking on their phones till 540am made our nights miserable!

The location is great-right next to the tube station, restaurants, grocery stores and a short walk to the Natural History Museum and V and A.
