Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe bathroom. It was incredibly small. It was an initiative use of space but uncomfortable and restrictive. I would like to have been warned about the bathroom. I think for a larger person it would be a problem although there was use of the hosts bathroom downstairs.
The breakfast was lovely and the location perfect. The bedroom clean and comfortable. Free Wifi.

United StatesI didn’t realize that there wouldn’t be a private bathroom. But this didn’t end up being a problem at all:)
Incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts, charming decor and atmosphere, delicious homey breakfast, 4 minute walk to town.

United KingdomIt was all good.
We loved staying at the Moon in The Apple Tree, a warm welcome and genuine home that embodies the true spirit of Glastonbury. Tor and Julie were exceptional hosts, the beds were super comfy and the room pristinely clean. The house is full of character and lovely inspiring art. Fabulous home cooked breakfasts which were delicious included some great homemade pancakes and good coffee which was a real treat. We had great conversations with our hosts and the other interesting guest on many subjects that people visiting Glastonbury are often exploring, around nature and cycles, spirtual practices, history and culture. Incredible value and a magical time.

I absolutely loved EVERYTHING : the atmosphere reflects the only good vibes from the hosts. This was my first time experiencing a B&B and I had the time of my life (I recharged in a weekend like I would have during a 2 weeks vacation and despite my sleep issues I slept like a baby). I need to come back!! Julie was really flexible (arrived late due to bus disruption and let me leave my stuff until my departure).

United KingdomNo storage in twin room. Sink in bathroom was tiny for washing your face, but manageable for hand washing and brushing teeth. 10pm time limit for using the (noisy) eco toilet was understandable to avoid disruption, but maybe a light being left on downstairs would have been good to avoid tripping down the stairs.
Hosts were amazing!! Comfy beds, good size rooms, own bathroom for myself and my 2 friends - an eco toilet too! Excellent breakfast provided by the host. The vibe of the place was perfect, and beautifully decorated. Provided keys for the property and flexibility to come and go as pleased. Incredibly close to the main street - 5 minute walk max. Hosts allowed us to leave our cases in the hall until we got picked up for the airport which saved us carrying them around. Excellent B&B for immersing yourself with the locals.

United Kingdomthe place is not a bed and breakfast, it's a room in somone's house. the proprieter's bedroom is right next door to both ofthe bedrooms they offerf for hire. the guests bathroom is tiny. you cannot use the bathroom between 23.00 and 08.00 as the saniflo pumps are very very loud. the couple carry on their own life with no regard that someone has paid to stay there. they ccoked some sort of fish dish on my last night there which stunk out the entire place. the coice of breafast was, a cooked breakfasat, toast and jams or granola. i don't eat cooked breafasts, the toast was some sort of continental bread abd i don't eat granola as it takes too much chewing. they made no provission for a "normal" type of guest. it would take very little for them to provide some cornflakes etc. the couple who ran the place were very nice but live an alternative lifestyle and maybe this si the sort of guest they expect in glastonbury.
not much really.
