Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe Breakfast was very poor, orange, apple juice very cheap and nasty. Eggs, bread, jam, beans sections were empty and we had to keep asking for them, the coffee machine was unavailable for part of the duration of our breakfast. ...BUT what was alarming on our last day we left our luggage at the hotel for safe keeping. The guy at checkout assured us our bag would be secure, when we came back to pick the bags up at 5.30pm our bags were still sitting at the checkout desk (they were basically at the front door of the hotel the whole day)
The location for Abba Voyage was great.

United KingdomEverything else… room smelt, the sink was blocked, over run with fruit flies. Woken up in the middle of the night, cleaner walked in my room at 11:20 without knocking whilst I was about to shower.
The black girl at the front desk upon checking out was polite.

United KingdomThe bedding was extremely dirty. The sanitary bin wasn't empty during our stay. The staff looked miserable as hell. Not very helpful. There were no drawers to put anything in. Just 3 tiny shelves.
The music and customer atmosphere was okay.

United KingdomI left my iPhone and iPad at home and there was no way to set an alarm. I assumed being an airport hotel there would be a wake up facility on the TV or phone. There are no phones in the room and nothing on the TV. I understand I could have requested a wake up call, but it was late and I had no desire to get dressed and go downstairs to search for a member of staff.
Breakfast was ok. Close to airport. It may be 1.8 miles from the O2 (as the crow flies). It takes a good 20 mins in a taxi.

United KingdomStaff were not personable, and abrupt when asking questions. I didn’t feel like a valued customer and visibly heard them “bad mouthing” another guest staying at the hotel. When asking for my ‘complimentary’ cocktail and presenting my voucher, I was ignored and after waiting over 10 minutes at a not busy bar, I walked off annoyed as the staff went to having their own conversations. The room was advertised as a queen but only a double. The room where “modern” had its issues. The tv integrated into the wall had big sound issues, the bathroom was really tight and cramped, the shower head wouldn’t stay in a raised/fixed position so was having to hold it up constantly, and the side tables etc were badly scratched up. Complimentary tea and coffee were provided in the room but only one tea bag and three tiny sachets of packet milk. The worst part of our stay was the unfortunate and longing smell of sick from the elevators when we returned at night. After informing the staff that I had stepped in it whilst using the lift, I was met again with a really dismissive attitude of “yeah we know”. 30 minutes later when I went downstairs (using the stairs this time as the smell was beyond retching…remnants remained in the lift lobby area of which I, and I imagine every guest, had to dodge to get around) all this for £179 a night? in my opinion, really poor and would not recommend. I will be sending an email to booking.com!

United KingdomAC had no instructions and was on 'winter mode' - heated the room up and was unable to sleep due to the heat. Staff could not provide any additional fans.
Super clean and tidy, free cocktails were a definite bonus. Staff were also very friendly too, would absolutely stay here again.

United KingdomThe room was far too hot for me to sleep in. The thermostat has a minimum of 18 degrees. The window didn’t open fully, which is no doubt a safety feature. However, this meant I could barely sleep as the room was too warm for me. This is a deal breaker for me, and I won’t be booking here in the future for this reason.
The location, cleanliness and facilities were all good.

United KingdomRoom was small. Bathroom very tiny. Breakfast limited. Had to ask and wait for food choice as tray was empty. Don't like the toaster. Very tiny table in the room. Power cut at 2am due to massive leakage from bathroom ceiling. Floor soaking wet. Woken up as hubby stepped into wet carpet while going to use the toilet. Had to move to another room at 2am. Water and electricity don't mix. Danger was at hand. Thank God we are safe. Value for money? No way. Disappointed on entering room. Bedside socket charger only on one side of the bed.

The taxi they call me from hotel to tesco 20GBP. In december from almost the same place I paid 9GBP with official taxi with counter. .To expensive stay
The neighbors gave me free parking as I am often in London and I know area. The security stuff very helpful 👍 Now I am waiting to get back my deposit and and unblocking my credit card.

really liked the friendliness of the staff, the furnishing of the room, the shampoo and also that there were a few vegan options at the buffet

United KingdomI got kicked out of the hotel with my 2month baby frenchie dog and had to go to Hilton and spent another 140pounds to then the staff tell me I can’t stay with my dog and came back to moxy to ask them politely to let me stay after spending 270 pounds they still refused me and my baby dog on the streets at 5am. luckily the travelodge let me stay in the lobby with my dog and I woke up to 130 pounds charge from moxy hotel! so I spent 400 pounds and didn’t get a bed because of you and if it wasn’t for travelodge I would have been on the streets at 5am with a shivering dog!

United Kingdomit could be cleaner, shower needed a scrub, floor needs cleaning, location wasn’t actually that convenient and the games they had downstairs weren’t a good variety. The downstairs area of the hotel really needed a good sort and the lights could do with being slightly brighter in the main areas, with proper seating. the pillows were comfortable but you could feel the springs in the bed which was annoying and the weird lighting in the room was really difficult to get ready in.

United KingdomThe rooms, no drawers or wardrobes Cold, allegedly 'hot ' breakfast. Lack of menu items available. Hot food served from the fridge, without staff checking. The cocktails ranged from good to awful, depending on who was making them. General lack of service, very much 'help yourself ' to basics such as cutlery, napkins condiments. We had to clear our tables after breakfast.( Surprised that we didn't have to wash up too! )Signage everywhere telling us to clear our tables, rather like McDonalds, which is cheap. This hotel was not. Dire staff attitude to assisting customers normal needs and requirements. Overpriced for what it was .Broken bedroom window and tv, no maintenance, had to move rooms. Confusing arrival leaving obligatory deposit and additional I.D. No garden or patio. Etc,etc etc. It goes on. The so-called Moxy Image is not for me as the staff seem untrained and lazy. There were some good staff, but they are brought down by the lazy untrained staff. The management really needs to 'up it's game '.So disappointed and I was rather angry as I paid for 2 rooms for 4 nights. Did get a small refund on one room for one night. But I would have preferred for us (my adult son)and I to just enjoy ourselves without having to complain. I won't be returning, or ever using another Moxy hotel anywhere in the world.
The variety of food options were good at breakfast. Enjoyed the drag-bingo provided by an outside source. Well done for booking this. (Didn't want to win though as the main prize was Another stay at the hotel) The housekeepers were good, clean room.
