Really nice, modern rooms, fairly large with great facilities. The staff were professional & friendly. Will definitely stay again on future visits.

Nothing to dislike... but maybe could have done with a decaff coffee in the room for later at night.

Pub very full and loud on 1st night and very quiet and dead on the 2nd.

Didn't like the auto bathroom light, which seemed very bright when using the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Located in the town centre with easy access downstairs to the pub for dinner. The room was modern and comfortable and a reasonable size and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were a bit alarmed to find earplugs were provided, however the noise we heard was from a nearby premises (not Murrays) and ended way before we went to bed and we didn't need to use the earplugs.

The bathroom light is on a timer so annoying at night time when it doesn’t turn off for a while, Bright green light in room at bedtime to show where door is, again annoying when needing to sleep

TV in the bedroom wasn’t tuned in, and only showed Sony TV.

A reading lamp would have been appreciated, ceiling lights were too stark for relaxing. A hair dryer would have been useful. If staying because of a wedding etc I could see this causing distress to some ladies! Above the door is an exit sign. I understand it's required by law, however the light omitting from it was far too bright. It lit up the room when trying to sleep. I read in another review that head boards banged against the wall when sitting or moving on the bed. I found that too. It was a bit annoying to be fair. Sound from other guests definitely carried, perhaps a gentle 'please keep tv volume low after 12' notice could help. Also any assistance to stop doors from slamming would be a bonus. Some people are just thoughtless which I understand is beyond your control. Wasn't essential but tv was difficult to figure out. Gave up in the end. I could have asked for help at the bar but I simply couldn't be bothered. Maybe instructions for the future?

Spotlessly clean room, comfy single bed and tastefully decorated, particularly impressed with the bathroom. Wonderful shower with lovely quality towels, a pleasure not to see mouldy sealant around fixtures and fittings. Arrived too late for dinner service unfortunately so can't comment on food but have heard excellent reviews about it
