Cosy accommodation, and excellent walking distance to the centre of Cirencester. Host was there to greet us upon our arrival. A few minor additions to the property would make it even more desirable. Definitely be returning in the future

The weather could have been better, but that’s England!

The house is superbly presented in a private courtyard with parking for 2 cars, a great place for a family get together. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to the town centre with so many good places to eat and drink. The local amenities are excellent. Battel Mews is a superb base to explore the Cotswolds. I can’t recommend it highly enough. A great host too.

One way traffic system around the town centre , though it was not really a problem as we only had to negotiate it once. On site parking meant we didn't need to venture out.

Everything. Fabulous accommodation, spacious, clean , warm. One on suite plus extra downstairs WC.Brilliant location just off town centre with bonus of on site parking. Restaurants , shops , pubs etc. all within minutes of walking. Perfect. Highly recommended.

The hot water tap didnt run in the downstairs toilet but wasn’t a problem overall . My only complaint was that the tea towel , dish sponge and towel in the downstairs loo had not been changed before us.

Very good location for town centre. The house was well equipped and lovely decor. We ate out on our two nights and only used the kitchen facilities for a quick breakfast of toast. Nice touch with pod coffee machine etc. beds were comfortable and shower was good.

Lovely mews house in a great area, 5 mins walk to town with good shops, pubs and places to eat. Near to lovely Cotswold villages without driving miles. Would thorough recommend!

The only thing would be that the dining table sat 4 and there were 5 of us (property sleeps 6) but we ate out most of the time so it didn’t really affect us.

It was in a lovely quiet location so close to the centre and had parking which was ideal. It felt very homely and was clean and had everything we needed. The owner was super helpful and friendly and even popped in with some trick or treat sweets for the kids!

There are no printed instructions in the home and no one met us to go over how things worked. Most everything was included in a message prior to arrival but it was very inconvenient to have to keep going back to an email when a paper copy in the home would be so much better. We're from the US and had no clue how to use the oven. Luckily, after going through all of the kitchen drawers, we finally located the original owners manual to the oven but it would have been nice to have had instructions on arrival. We had also planned to use the clothes washer but didn't find out until a few days prior to arrival that it was broken and this was only because I asked specifically about it. The agent was very quick to respond and suggested a local laundry mat however, that didn't work out due to our itinerary of day trips and the hours they were open. We even cut our one day trip short in order to get back in time to use it but we missed the 'last load' deadline by 8 minutes. We had issues with the garbage not having been emptied from the bathrooms after the previous guests and Anne did send apologies and was willing to send someone from the cleaning crew back but, still, not a pleasant beginning to our stay.

Great location and loved having the off street parking. The rooms and beds are comfortable and it's a quiet location. It's easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants of downtown. The agent, Anne, was quick to reply to messages.
