Complete scam..The pictures looked lovely, but the room was tiny, bar closed, no food, no staff...Complete waist of money...I want my money back!

Arrived later due to working during the day and long journey to get there, to be snapped at for asking to check in at 10.45, wasn’t aware there was a check in time limit, as property booked for on my behalf. Just rude and unprofessional, I was a customer not a child

We were virtually the only guests and it gave the impression of the Marie Celeste. We wnted a double romm but the information when booking showed only the twin rooms available. the room was pretty basic but adequate for a one nighter. The accomodation was in the deserted showground. We found it but not that easy to find

Rooms, very small and hot! . No bar open to enjoy a drink or two. TV on for kids in bar/ lounge area would have been a bonus rather than having to stay in your room. No evening meals available. Not as described on website! Not really child or dog friendly and we were not aware that we had to pay £10 a night our dog.

Breakfast!. Good variety offered and cooked breakfast was delicious! Did have to change room as it was supposed to be a deluxe room but definitely did not look as advertised for a deluxe room, however, we were offered another room which was satisfactory but still not a deluxe as photograph on web site. Very misleading. Bathroom was clean and so was the bedding.

All of it, even the grass outsude the room was nearly knee high full if weeds. It looked like a building site in places.

It had 6 stains on the floor, 2 big parches of brown damp stains on the ceiling, dressing table should have been thrown out years ago. The manager was rude saying I hope he doesnt yap all night, the first thing he said to us and aimed at our puppy. His co worker said we will be charged for stains etc... and went on about the dog, which I get but when we saw the room I wouldnt say id be worried about any other stains. It was awful, we were charged £10 extra for our dog, so £160 to stay their!! I wasnt staying their, it was the wirst hotel ive ever seen. Its classes as a luxury room too! In all fairness the Manager fully refunded us and we found a lovely hitel 12mins away, where we had a suite for £5 cheaper.

Room small and rather basic. Expense of the breakfast on offer, and only realised that there was one other couple, staying in the place. No staff around as we left.

The bathroom was quite dirty, the shower head had brown gunk all over it. The room was very basic. There was also lots of maintenance/work going on while we were there. The pictures of the hotel were very misleading

The member of staff we called to book in was very helpful and stayed on the phone to give us directions. He was also very friendly at breakfast the following morning.

When we arrived to get our room key, we only got the key then left as we had plans however the gentleman was not professional, and he swore in jest but I did not find this amusing as he was there to do a job. We booked a deluxe double room, with a travel cot for our baby, however it was two single beds and no cot in the room, also no staff around to ask at the time we came back to the room. There was a hornet on the bed and faeces marks all in the toilet, there was also dust everywhere and a stain on one of the single beds under the pillow. I was going to discuss these at check out as we were only staying one night however at 8:30am there was no one on the desk and we did not have time to wait for someone. We will not be returning
