We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThis is an extremely well-kept property, very clean and modern. The landlord has taken great pride in its appearance and comfort. Equipped with comfortable seating both inside and out, breakfast compliments, information about the area, and female sanitary products. They have thought about catering for every need, with children's toys, wifi, and much more. Definitely recommend staying.

United KingdomThe breakfast was acceptable in that it was 4 pieces of white bread and 2 croissants, plus a limited choice of cereals. That had to last 2 days. The TV reception was poor so unable to watch television.
The location was very good, just outside Ilfracombe on a quiet residential street. It was private accommodation at the rear of the owners house. It was clean and well decorated. It was easy and convenient.

Everything about Ms Nicola's place is just mesmerising. Starting from the entrance all the way up to the terraced bedroom. She takes extra care in providing even the tiniest details of hospitality. The place is in such an excellent location that it is of an easy reach to all the city's attractions. She made sure our stay is memorable and it indeed was I can't recommend her enough ❤️

We were made to feel very welcome and our very friendly hosts went to great lengths to make sure our stay was enjoyed. The room was immaculate, well decorated and spacious. I can't rave about this place enough. Thank you so much. When we come back to Ilfracombe we won't stay anywhere else.

United KingdomUnfortunately I’ve still got a sore neck over a week after our stay; the mattress had a fairly big dip in and pillows were not supportive. This gave me a completely stiff neck over my birthday weekend so certainly made the stay less enjoyable. I did ask for former pillows the next evening but the damage had already been done. A few of other things that weren’t great: - Strange hot water contraption for hot water in the sink in the bathroom - Cold water tap is an auto off tap which is pretty hard to press on and is loud each time. - The apartment is in the owners back garden, so we did feel a little trapped out the back of someone’s house. - No main sink for washing up, bathroom sink too small for washing up. - No freezer in the fridge that’s in the room.
The property is certainly more spacious than a hotel room and it’s clean. We only spoke to one of the hosts but they were friendly and asked us to let us know if they could do anything which was well received. All the breakfast items were nice and well considered.
