Being a modern construction with hard finishings, the noise levels were a little higher than I would have liked - minor complaint. Although I was aware that it was normally student accomodation, I was surprised that there was absolutely no cutlery or cups (having flown there, I could not take my own). Perhaps a basic set for rental could be considered.

The property provided good, basic accomodation with no frills. Due to the nature of the rental, there was minimal contact with staff but those spoken to seemed pleasant.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, but fine for two nights it was good, no negativity at all really.

The room was spacious, with a nice bathroom and the communal kitchen was great, we traveled with friends, so the four of us meet in the kitchen. The rooms were very clean.

My bed was a bit uncomfortable though my sisters was fine, all depends on your preference. Found room too warm for me, but was able to open a window.

Staff friendly and helpful. Nice kitchen space. Though if you stay make sure you bring own cups etc, as none provided. Clean. Would stay again.

There were no refreshments available. If I'd realised I would have taken my own mug and tea bags. However, there was a fridge in my room and a kettle available in the communal area.

Great place to stay. Handy for train and buses into Cardiff. Lovely local area.

This is student accommodation, so a small single room with a 3 foot bed, a small fridge, shower and toilet. There is a shared kitchen with fridge-freezers, oven and hob, and a microwave, but no cutlery or crockery. So bring your own cup, bowl, spoon etc. There is a shop at a garage about 10 minutes walk away. There are very few shops or pubs/cafes/restaurants close by. A taxi into the city centre cost £10-14. There is reasonable free wifi and the staff at reception are very helpful. There is parking on site which costs £2 for 24 hours or £8 for a week.

It would have been nice to have known before hand that there was no cutlery or crockery. In the kitchen there was a kettle and microwave but no plates or cups. If I had known before hand I would have brought a mug and spoon and tea and coffee.

It was really nice clean. We got towels, toilet roll and bedding. So that was a bonus. Was 10minutes walk into town, great location.

Although we knew it was halls of residence and a plastic cup was provided - nothing else was there except a kettle (no cups / spoons etc I contacted the site ahead of visit to enquire about bedding and towels but did t think to ask about cups etc - my fault didn’t detract from the stay

Self contained room with en-suite bathroom On arrival it was spotless and well presented Well organised in terms of check on very cheap parking for a city centre and staff were amazing with knowledge of getting to town and around as well as local food / drink points - campus was well lit at night and although stairs were slippy when wet the handrails were good support - building work did not disturb until a reasonable time the following day and all staff were courteous

The toilet was not properly cleaned, and the rugs needed cleaning or hoovering. The central heating was not turned on and it was a chilly night.

It's easy to find and affordable for the 3 nights. The staff were always exceptional.

The bed was quite uncomfortable. There were absolutely no kitchen utensils or cutlery or even a sponge to wash your own plate. If you open a place for tourists in the summer you shouldn't expect them to bring everything in their luggage.

Good location, the room was clean and there was enough space. The staff was helpful.

Disgusting dirty dilapidated- we booked two rooms for a weekend for event at principality stadium and left early as it was too horrible . Possible bedbugs we were itching all night and room was damp and filthy and black mould- have left another review for other room

Filthy dirty, very poor quality furniture and everything was sticky. Bathroom ceiling walls and shower platform edges were thick with black mould and slimy fresh pink mould growing above shower cubicle. Could not sit down on toilet and close the bathroom door due to narrowness of room and proximity of toilet to door . Bed was very uncomfortable with springs prominent . Sheets appeared clean and ironed but there were still hairs in the bed. Fridge buzzhummed far too loudly. Room was damp and stank of damp and mould . One of our rooms also stank of marijuana it was really unpleasant but we could not open the window as it was at ground floor level with no safety catches. We did not stay the mandatory two nights but left as early as we could in the morning.twenty minutes drive to principality stadium.

Great location for the money. Public transport minutes away. Local pubs/restaurants nearby. Staff so helpful. A would recommend to anyone. Spoke to other people who stayed and they all spoke highly off the residence.

There were no utensils, plates, cutlery or even cups. I think providing cups would have been helpful or at least pointing out that there are no cups in the booking details.
