Only thing I didn’t get was a good couple of hours sleep, partly my fault as I kept waking up.

When I first walked in, I was greeted by this lovely man who helped me with questions and answers. The lifts were difficult to use, the room was standard, nice tv, good window view. Couldn’t really complain

Staff were really friendly and helpfull. It was the perfect location to the train station and hippodrome. Room was really big and comfy! The breakfast in the morning had excellent choice and tasted great!

Breakfast timing could be extended. The fridge in my room had a nasty smell emanating into the room parking is difficult to organise and was charged £30 for parking outside hotel. I had no alternative as I didn't want to park and walk with my children to and from the hotel. Sofa bed mattress was very thin could feel the springs through.

Communication before stay was great staff were great friendly welcoming breakfast selection was fantastic. Extra bed and sofa bed set up on arrival.

Advertised as having streaming services, like Netflix, however this was not the case. You can watch Netflix if you sync your laptop/phone screen to the TV but that isn't always ideal. Streaming services was one of the main selling points for us so we were left disappointed. Half of the TV channels do not work. Food is delicious but the main portions are relatively small. A lot of the staff speak very poor English, not even basic English, which resulted in a few awkward conversations and encounters. Rooms were also very warm and air con made very little difference and we were unable to go below 19C on the thermostat. Obviously wouldn't be a big deal outside of the summer months.

Great location, friendly staff who hold themselves to a high standard, decent rooms, tasty varied food options. Easy to get assistance whenever needed. Room service was great and easily accessible. Couldn't hear any other guests at all which was very nice and felt very private.

Not anything to do with the hotel but they suggest parking in the NCP new street car park, as it is the closest and you get a discount.However, it's not the best and on leaving I saw several cars that had been broken into.

The location of the hotel was perfect and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

There were no apps already installed on TV. The air conditioning was hard to use.

The views from top rooms were nice. I like that it had a smart TV which I could link to TV and watch. The breakfast was nice and had some vegan options.

Evening meal was just ok, nothing special and menu choice was VERY limited. Would have expected more for the price.

Excellent location, very close to Railway station and traffic-wise in the middle of Birmingham. Breakfast was very good albeit traditional, very friendly and professional service staff in the restaurant. All in all a good experience.

The fridge didn't work, we wanted to bring in some of our own late night snacks but couldn't because of it, no big deal but it was a shame. The shower head was a little filthy and we had to clean that unfortunately

The view! It was incredible and the night time viewing of the city made it worth every penny. The bed was comfy and the place was great.
