Rude wedding party guests the next day difficult to check out when so many were in the lobby chatting and generally just being in the way

Staff were exceptionally helpful. Location, parking, hotel amenities were all as described so made a very pleasant stay.

There was a slight damp smell on the 2nd floor. Despite using the fan provided, the bedroom was very warm.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful with good choices.

The hotel could really do with an upgrade, it is outdated for a four star hotel. The room (107) had a hair dryer that did not work, it wasn’t much of a big deal, I’m sure it would have been replaced had I asked. The pool was quite cold, the steam room was over heated to the point of condensation droplets leaking onto the skin which was extremely hot and the jacuzzi was out of order, this was the most dissatisfying part of the stay, as I had purposely booked the hotel for this reason, so it was a huge shame about this. It would have been nice to have been informed about this via the website prior. Had I paid more for the room, I may have asked to be compensated based on this reason.

The property is very clean and located not too far from the City Centre. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The choice of breakfast was very good, continental and also cooked, which was cooked perfectly. The room was clean, presented well. The garden is well maintained and was beautiful to sit outside in the morning and see the wildlife that resides there.

In the evening was a wedding reception. Having been put in a family room on the first floor we could hear the music from the wedding reception until late. This impacted on my two young children getting to sleep initially and was slightly frustrating. Maybe a warning to this being the case on the booking would have been helpful or a room on the second floor.

The pool was great. The room was really spacious.

Rooms very outdated and in need of a modern update and paint, gave a grubby appearance and showers average at best, felt it needs a good overhaul for the price of the rooms

The bed was so uncomfortable that the 2 nights we stayed I barely slept and was in pain. I went away feeling more tired than before I got there( and I’m pregnant with 4 kids at home). Breakfast was nice but the 2nd morning there was lots of shell in my egg and a workers hair wrapped around some of the food (was not ours).

It was a grand nice place to stay with a great shower, swimming pool etc.

The place is a little tired. Areas not in direct line of sight need attention to detail, this did not detract from the overnight stay it's just an observation.

The staff at this hotel were fantastic, front of house just superb and really accommodating. Room was massive and perfect for an overnight stay with two dogs. Grounds are excellent for giving the dogs a stretch. The gardens are inviting on a sunny day.
