Pool area and changing rooms very dated and in desperate need of an upgrade. If you stay in the very large family room, beware that there is a low humming generator type noise that goes all night. Pillows also a bit lumpy and very firm. It's a great room but needs a bit of refinement (heating control, no lighting next to beds, only bright spotlights over the bed, having a place to put items in the bathroom, no fridge etc). Food and drink was good but it is overpriced so expect hotel prices!

Staff on reception on check in, and bar and wait staff in restaurant. Very large family room is available, good size and has blackboard and giant Jenga, great for younger ones. Rooms decorated nicely. Food in restaurant was good. Free parking.

Very good breakfast with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Didn't get the lady's name , who was on duty for breakfast, but she is a credit to you.

There was not anything special about the hotel - difficult to remember - but nothing significantly bad or good.

This for me was a standard hotel. The hotel met the expectations as advertised. It had a comfortable room, warm with flat screen tv and tea & coffee facilities.

Everything overpriced. Hotel outdated and needs major modernisation. Gym very poor and only open to guests between 10:00 and 18:00. Rooms need updating, includes plumbing.

Bar area was good. Staff were very good. Coffee machine in room.

There is a funny smell in the area around the hotel. Not sure what it is but it extends to around the shopping area and so not the hotels fault. Comes and goes. You don't smell it once inside. The leisure area was limited to 10am til 6pm making it useless for me. I was looking forward to a morning swim or maybe end of the day. I would expect 8-8 from a hotel of this size. Generally the reception, corridor carpets and bathrooms are functional but due an update.

Rooms are large, clean and beds are very comfortable. Despite being apparently fully booked it was quiet over night - no noise from other rooms or doors. Check in and out was fast.

No heater in the bathroom heater in room was not on room was cold 20min to warm up. Picture frame on war was broken. 4 young men seating outside talking and smoking outside 9.30 at night we need to sleep .no sauna lockers broken .fire doors need checking .Hall ways bad smell of gas in one of the walk ways.

The room had quite a few stains on the chairs and carpet,peeling leather on one, chipped paint work, was a little tired for the money, a lot of money for the tired room, the shower was fixed so couldn't be put down to the right hight, the toilet bowl needed a really good clean, haven't seen a toilet as bad in a hotel before, pretty poor value for money

The room we were allocated had no pressure in the shower and no hot water either, we mentioned to reception and they swapped our room with no hesitation

Bed mattress was hard but that's just personal preference. Could do with sockets next to bed for charging phone nearer to the bed.

Bathroom needed upgrading - toilet didn't flush well. Mould at bottom of shower screen. Bathroom certainly wasn't inviting as quite old and shabby looking. No mirror in bedroom to get made up or do hair. Mattress was too hard. Definitely not up to my expectations.

Swimming pool area , changing room , steam room . Requires some refurbishment and modernization. That part of the hotel is definitely not a 4 star standard.

Good Restaurant and bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms , Clean hotel. Plenty of parking space, good location. Delicious breakfast.

Not sure why staff were not allowed to heat milk for our 1-year-old. I accept this may be policy but not sure why we couldn't have used a microwave under staff supervision. Disappointed that a solution wasn't offered other than we could use the garage down the road!
