United KingdomBroken glass lamp shade, caretain partly fallen down, door in main bedroom would open/ shut properly food left in freezer and food frozen to the draw of the freezer. Stained mattress and although the bedding was l launded it has two lots of stains. When I informed the owner she was polite however she used words like well that the cleaner fault and what do you want me.to do about it, and repeating trying to make me stay the remaining night, when I refused she said I would not a refund for the remaining night as I chose to leave. She also said I'm sorry you feel that way and she had no other guest complain before and she had booking for next year your the only one. Which made me feel I had no right to complain. I would like to add I had never ask or hinted about any return of money. She did say she would put these things right either that day or the end of the season however I didn't return so I can't comment either way. The caravan was inadequate and so was the owner who only swam to care about losing the remaining night money. I feel uncomfortable writing this bad review however I wouldn't want anyone else holiday spoiled.
Camp site was well located, and a nice pub a short distance walk. And a short bus ride to inamells. We walked which was a lovely walk.

United Kingdom• Wrong caravan supplied even though host confirmed 6 months prior we would be having a newer one. When asked about this, we were told that they had sold the caravan and didn’t tell us. • Caravan was very dated and falling apart • MASSSIVE wet patch outside the bathroom door even though we were pre warned it was a “small” patch and could we avoid it. When we checked out on the Sunday (we arrived Friday) it was still wet. (please see the picture showing a bed sheet that i put down which also shows how BIG the patch actually was) children had to pole vault over or get wet feet/socks each time. • Every kitchen item was ladened with grease and whatever else • No pillow cases on the pillows in the main bedroom • Mattresses in the small bedroom are so thin, you can feel every single spring • Asked for the wi-fi numerous times to which we were told it was here or there and it wasn’t. Stated to the host we need the wi-fi as we run our own business and nothing was offered to resolve this • Even though description says towels provided, towels are NOT provided. Not even a tea towel, bathmat or a bin bag. • Items from previous guests was left • Please note that the host did offer to send in the cleaner to rectify the pillows and the dirty kitchen wear, but how is this helpful when we wanted to make breakfast for our children when we found them. Was me meant to wait for the cleaner to come, watch her clean the items, and then wait for her to leave before we ate. In the end we settled with toast. • Main bedroom ensuite was very dirty and off-putting. We didn’t use it. • If certain things had been done right and checked over it would have been a good stay. But our stay was ladened with problems and we checked out first thing and didn’t even have breakfast before we left.

United KingdomBooking was actually for two different caravans on one advertisement and the second one was just mentioned. Caravan was clean but very tired and poorly "decorated/painted" to try to make it look better. Booking states cash bond on arrival and leaving but after paying non refundable final payment was demanded payment before going and would not give final payment back, and took over two weeks to get it returned after the break after several communications !!!
Location was good on a nice site that we have previously stayed at in other caravans.
