Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Bed has a light and you can charge your phone. You have a lift which is very helpful. Staff is very helpful thank you to Tiffany; Leo; Mohammed and Gabriel and the guy with the dreadlocks for help and constant care. God Bless

Very small, uncomfortable bed. Very rigid and unhelpful rules - I wanted to leave my bag for two days, and though I did it several times in different hostels before with no problems, this time they refused to do it (though I wanted to pay for that!)

Bathrooms are in the dorms, making lots of noice in mornings and evenings unfortunately. Mattresses are very thin.

Too small room - not very comfortable. The toilet was covered with some sort of water creating a massive puddle - impossible to enter as a human being.

No heating, with -2 outside during the night! Bed at ground level was actually a mattress directly on the floor!!!! Very small and suffocating room with 3 bunk beds each side, really difficult to access. Dirty blankets, smelling like mold.

The only good thing was the private bathroom of the 6 bedded dormitory.

They lied and put my name of the blacklist and when I asked them to show me the video that I was aggressive with the receptionist they refused, obviously because they are laying. Punch of unprofessional rude staff!

I added to the blacklist for falsely accusation that I was rude to the receptionist and when I asked to see the CC TV videos as I am sure 100% it was not me. They refuse to show me the video and saying its private property and we do what we like!

My recent stay at Smart Hyde Park View Hostel was nothing short of fantastic. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness stood out right from the start. A massive thank you to George, who went above and beyond by relocating me to a 6-bed all-female room without any additional cost when I had initially booked an 8-bed mixed room (which coincidentally turned out to be all male). His proactive and considerate approach was greatly appreciated! Other things worth mentioning are spacious lockers ensuring the security of personal items, and the cleanliness of both the room and the private bathroom within the shared 6-bed space. And curtains to close around your bed. 10/10! The hostel's location was another winning factor, making it convenient to explore the city. I highly recommend Smart Hyde Park View Hostel for budget-conscious travellers seeking a clean, secure, and welcoming stay. Will definitely come back! Thank you once again to George and the entire staff for their outstanding hospitality!

The mattrass was not very comfortable - I could feel the springs and every time I moved a little, the bed made a loud, squeeky sound. My bed was next to the central heating, which was very hot but it could not be turned off. I slept with the window open which was fine - but I was lucky it was not super cold outside. A bin in the room would have been nice.

Great location in the centre of London, a 1 minute stroll from Hyde Park and near other major attractions. The hostel is cozy, super affordable and the staff was incredibly friendly. They were so helpful and I felt really welcome. The price for breakfast was £6.50, which is less than usual.

I have been constantly waken up by crazy guy who constantly kept waking me up by banging on the bed frame always when I started falling asleep, I do snore lightly it was good indicator for the crazy guy to know when I am falling asleep, he refused to take earplugs said I have a breathing problems and he can't sleep. ( it's a hostel take the bloody earplugs) reception failed to give me another bed even tho I complained 3 nights in a row, on my leave I found out they put me on a black list. It's one of the worst in London with arrogant poisonous staff

You get what you pay for. Good price for a great location. The curtain on the bunks is nice for privacy. The rooms and building could use quite a bit of renovation.
