Everything, what a beautiful place , the staff on the Saturday we stayed were friendly and helpful, we stayed for dinner and had the 3 course dinner 10/10 steak cooked perfectly, our room had everything we needed, bed was super comfy, breakfast was great , we enjoyed walking around the property

Lovely country Manor House hotel with many original features. We stayed in the superb honeymoon suite for 2 nights, which made it extra special. Stunning bedroom and on suite with a huge shower and separate roll top bath overlooking the gardens. The staff were all very attentive and friendly and the food was amazing. Fantastic evening meals and a great cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Called ahead with dietry requirements, but just got the wrong person on the phone, who said to email, but i could not email. However this did not in any way distract from a wonderful stay, and springkell were very accommodating.

The staff were very friendly, the food was good, it was clean and tidy and there was a welcoming atmosphere. The grounds were picturesque, and the actual building was beautiful.

The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond! Gorgeous house and location. Food was excellent quality, I would eat here as a restaurant let alone just when using it as a hotel. We felt like we were staying at a National Trust property! Room was a spacious family room with comfy beds. I will definitely be staying again.

The hotel was amazing, better than we expected. The room was cosey with a nice ensuite. The breakfast was lovely, in a grand room overlooking the beautiful gardens. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Springkell is surrounded by its beautiful gardens and grounds where you can enjoy beautiful walks and the peace. We were looking for a stay in a Country Manor and this was perfect. We had dinner in the dining room which was excellent and also breakfast the next morning which was plentiful and freshly prepared. The guest areas are in keeping with an elegant country house and we enjoying the other guests company. Our Superior room was spacious, had a king size bed, modern bathroom and a beautiful view over the gardens. The tea and coffee facilities in the room was appreciated. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Wifi was great and parking was plentiful and onsite.

A beautiful stately home in a secluded place. The rooms were massive and felt like a Palace. Nice friendly staff. Chef went out of the way to cook Rice and curry for us. Tele had Netflix subscription...

We wish booking.com had offered a dinner bed and breakfast option because we had already eaten by the time we realised that a meal was available at the hotel. We saw the menu and it was very inviting. Next time, perhaps?

From start to finish it was a great stopover. Locating the house was easy, thanks to directions sent. Staff made us feel welcome and gave us all the information needed. Rooms were comfortable and beautifully furnished. The breakfast needs a special mention, highly recommended. Overall, this is the best place we have stayed in when breaking the journey on our frequent Scotland trips. There would be plenty to do in the area for a longer stay. Thank you Springkell.

There is nothing negative I could say, we loved our stay. If I had to nit pick it would be more choice of dinner options for kids and I would have liked a bit of green on my plate with the steak but hey thats it.

Beautiful location and surroundings, the hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast in the morning.
