Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe bar/restaurant was of the "captive audience"" theme...it was inviting, cosy, but quite overpriced compared to other bar/restaurants in the local vicinity.
We stayed in an apartment at the Bay. It was lovely, large and clean. The best bit was that it had a bath...only have a shower at home. The location was excellent, very near the beach for our dog and lovely walks into Filey and surrounding areas.

United KingdomWe were told on the same day that the check-in time on 'Booking' was wrong. Here says check-in between 5pm-6pm, but we received a call on our way there saying that the reception closes at 5pm. On our arrival we were welcomed with an inappropriate comment from a staff member. In two consecutive days, two maintenance employees entered our accommodation without knocking on the door. The furniture is worn out and the house had equipment that was not working properly: the bathroom window did not open to eliminate the smell of bleach; the bathtub drainage was clogged/not working properly; the washing machine stopped. Super dog-friendly and a really quiet place. They have different houses and 'caravans', tennis court, pool, gym, beach access, restaurant, pub and grocery store.

United KingdomLate check-in. Access to the swimming pool is a joke. There is no booking system. You just have to turn up & hope it isn't full - which it often was. We were told to put our names on a list & then wait in reception for when anyone left the pool to take their place. It is ridiculous to ask people, including kids, to stand around for hours, not knowing when places would become available. Then, when in the pool (which was freezing), teenagers were throwing balls around, so we were constantly getting hit in the face and head. It's not good for anyone to get hit, but especially the kids. Although they were soft balls, they still hurt when thrown with force. Ball games should be outside! The changing room floors looked like they needed a good mop. There was no toilet paper or paper towels in the toilet on both occasions we used the facilities. There were no overshoes in the holder either. The hairdryers in both the ladies and gents changing rooms were broken.
It is a nice, well-kept site - much better than a caravan site, especially in rainy weather. The food is tasty in the on-site eateries. (Make sure to book.) The accommodation is comfortable, with good heating.
