Solo traveller & unable to check in until 9.40!pm due to train times & then went straight to the football match when arrived at Norbiton. It was pitch black & very intimidating walking through the back streets to get to the hotel which I would say is more like a hostel sight. no one there to meet me even though book in was until up to 10pm! I did manage to ring emergency number & someone guided me to the box where I needed to get my Key, I was asked to type in a security code! Baring in mind it was pitch black & the person said he lived an hour away so wouldn’t be able to come & meet me. Eventually I got into my room but still felt uncomfortable on my own given the experience I have just had to get into the room. Yes it was £50 but I definitely wouldn’t want to stay there again.

This should not even be a 1 star the place is beyond disgusting.The smell was awful ,people running up and down all night ,tiles were not stuck down on the bathroom floor or to the walls the kettle did not work the front was covered in fag buts avoid at all costs … don’t make the same mistake we did !

Dirty, unprofessional, full of bed bugs

Absolutely nothing. Dirty rooms, no staff to report any problems to like mine which was major as I had millions of bugs in my bed. They turned out to be BED BUGS and I was bitten from head to toe.

Damp, signs of water running down the walls, TV was the same size as my hand. Very old and run down. No where to park, had to talk to someone through the Rimg door bell to get my key and left to my own to get into the building. No staff on site and the whole building looked and was closed, so no pub, food etc. I didn't stay in the end and decided to drive 3hrs home. The ceiling was buldging above the head board of the bed so God knows how much water is contained there.

I didn't like the bed bugs, bites of which I am still suffering from 7 days later. What more can I say? Arabian highway host houses I've stayed in afforded me a clean bed without being bitten overnight. I come back to Britain, and stay in a 'hotel' in one of the oldest, and most expensive cities in the world, and get bitten to death. What a country!

This place was, without exception (and I have travelled in Africa, Asia, and throughout Europe) the worst place I have ever stayed. There was nothing about it I liked - apart from the building itself which is a 20th century classic.

No staff to talk to or to book in was done by intercom and then they directed us out the building to the next door we got lost and didn’t know where we was going, the place was awful and no clean at all would never go there again.
